"Independent Living Needs Update, Assisted Living Feels Like Nursing Home"
The Christian Home was alright, but the Independent Living seemed too much like Assisted Living. Also, the place needs a big makeover. When I visited the Assisted Living part, it felt like a nursing home. Every room was shared, and there wasn't much privacy.

"Assisted Living Facility Impresses with Cleanliness and Meal Quality"
I live far away, but after visiting and hearing updates, things seem good. Dad enjoys meals, place is clean. No complaints so far.

"Friendly Staff, Limited Space"
I arrived for my 4 PM appointment, but they weren’t expecting me. The managing director apologized, and we continued. Unfortunately, they don’t have any available 2-bedroom units. The one-bedroom options might not be suitable for my parents. She mentioned the possibility of combining two studios into one unit, but I’m unsure if the space would be enough. The price is comparable, and the staff is very kind and accommodating. They assured us they could help if we run out of money.

"Highly recommended for friendly and comfortable assisted living."
Helpful, friendly, experienced, beautiful, comfortable... these words describe our time placing our brother in assisted living at Mt. Healthy Christian Home. We highly recommend it.

"Bus route convenient but mostly elderly residents. Dining schedule coordination needed."
The assisted living place is on the bus route, which is good, but there are mostly older folks there. If you want to eat with them, you have to figure out the bus schedule to match the dining times, which can be a hassle. That's probably the biggest problem.

"Mt Healthy Disappointed Us With Their Care"
We had a bad run at Mt Healthy. After just one day, my dad was sent somewhere else for a week. A month later, they asked him to leave, even though they had already interviewed him. They don't seem to have enough folks working there to look after someone with Alzheimer's. I never saw anyone on the staff actually doing anything with my dad. It wasn't a good experience.
