"Better Communication Needed for New Residents"
Everything went fine, but it would have been better if our loved ones had a tour of the building before moving in. That way, they could understand where everything is and how to sign up for meals and dining.

"Mom Liked Most Things, Food Needs Improvement"
My mom enjoyed most things at the assisted living place, except for the food. She didn't think it was good for diabetics. The rooms and layout of the community were nice. They also have outdoor space. The staff was very friendly. It was more expensive than other places, but my mom still liked it.

"Wish We’d Moved Sooner; Happy with Affordable, Safe Living"
The facility is beautiful with stunning surroundings. I wish we had moved my mom and dad to Commons Independent Living years ago. They lived in my childhood home for over 50 years and were reluctant to move. We thought it would be too expensive, but we didn’t know what we were missing. The Commons is very affordable and offers a lot of extra value in the monthly rate. At 91 and 89, they are very happy to be together in a safe, clean, and supportive place. Their apartment is huge, freshly painted, and has new carpet with plenty of space for their favorite pieces. It took Dad a few days and Mom a few weeks to adjust. The entire process was easy, and the Commons team made the move simple. I wish all families the best!

"Great place with friendly staff and lots of activities"
We've been really happy with this place. I live far away and don’t get to visit often, but whenever I do, it's always very clean. The staff I've met have been nice and professional. My loved one hasn't used many of the services or activities yet, but there seem to be a lot of options available.

"Mixed Feelings about Assisted Living: Loved It, Financial Worries"
The place was nice, but it worried me about money. They wouldn't assist with VA benefits, said I had to find help elsewhere. I had to keep paying rent while waiting for it. What if it didn't come through? I might have to move again. Despite this, I would have enjoyed living there.
