The Inn at Coal Ridge

"Nice Place, Great Staff, Poor Nursing, Good for Independent Seniors"
The place is really nice, and most of the helpers are fantastic. The food is alright, nothing special. But, if the nurses are responsible for giving medicine to your family member, you need to watch them closely. My dad had a lot of mistakes with his medicine, some happened right in front of me. The nursing care here is not good at all. However, if your family member can still think clearly and do some things on their own, they will enjoy it here.

"Detailed tour, pricey rooms led us to another choice."
We had a nice tour of this place. The guide showed us everywhere and answered all questions. We picked another place because it cost more and had smaller rooms.

"Great place, great people, despite insurance hassles"
It's a great place with great people. We've had a hard time, but it's not because of Coal Ridge. The insurance has been a hassle, but Coal Ridge has been awesome.

"Expensive Elderly Home Falls Short on Security and Enjoyment"
Finally, I'm sharing a review of this facility with my family. You'd expect a high-end place where you spend big bucks for your elderly relatives to enjoy their last years would be nothing but the best, right? My parent was there for months and I can confirm that many of the complaints in past reviews are all too true. There was no sense of safety and care, the food was unappetizing, and there wasn't much variety in the activities. I'm disappointed with our experience at this facility.

"Caring Haven for Seniors!"
My grandma has lived at The Inn for nearly two years. I’m thrilled to share my name with this review! I genuinely adore it there. The staff truly cares about every resident. I encourage everyone to visit and see for themselves—you won’t be let down!

"Great Assisted Living with Personal Touch and Family Trust"
I usually don't rate places because I think I've made a good choice. When you visit, you'll always find someone unhappy, but I wonder why their loved one is there. This is an assisted living facility, so the residents shouldn’t need much help. They definitely don’t need a front desk open 24/7! Every concern I’ve had has been addressed. The staff know all the residents well, and it’s clear from their interactions. They laugh with the residents and even brought in a grief counselor to help with losses. I’ve recommended this place to my friends, and several parents and in-laws live here, showing a family decision. No one has left since The Inn opened. Negative reviews don’t show names—why? This place was needed for a long time. I’m proud The Inn is in Wadsworth!

"Facility rushed with mom, causing upsetting situation"
I was all set to voice my point of view after going through all these reviews. My mom wasn't given enough time to adapt to the facility and was sent to the psych ward after just a fortnight, without trying other soothing practices or even letting me know. If someone had actually manned the front desk, utilized their relaxation room, and shown a bit more kindness and comprehension, my mom's experience wouldn't have been so terrible! She is now at another place that is so much more empathetic and understanding!

"Unimpressed: Beautiful Facility, Lacking Compassion and Activities"
I wasn't happy with this place at all! It looked great, but don't get tricked! There were no activities in the dementia unit and they had the residents laying around, all doped up! I quickly advised my parents to get my grandma out of there! Being involved with physical therapy, I can easily say they need tons of improvement. As for the staff, they weren't kind or caring at all. Absolutely no compassion!!!

"Shoddy Service and Care at Coalridge!"
My grandparent was incredibly dissatisfied with their stay at Coalridge! They glam it up to be like a fancy staycation, but trust me, a month in you'll change your tune! The customer service line is virtually nonexistent. The grub's beyond dreadful! The programs leave a lot to be desired! Don't be tricked by the eye-catching surroundings - that's all it is! The real aspect is the personnel...completely detached and unfeeling! Take a gander at some of the other comments echoing the same sentiment!

"Unfriendly, Poor Food and No Security at Assisted Living Home"
This place didn't take good care of my grandparents! It looks nice, but it's not friendly at all. The food was even worse than what you'd get in a school lunchroom, and there was nothing to do except watch TV in the special care unit. Plus, nobody was ever at the front desk, so it didn't feel safe either!

"Unsafe Living Situation Forces Aunt's Removal"
We had to take our aunt out of this place because it wasn't safe. A guy living there kept flashing himself and even came into my aunt's room when she was getting dressed.
