"Disappointing Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The place was nice and the staff were friendly. But, they only had a small studio apartment available, which wasn't what we wanted for our mom. They said she could wait for a bigger one, but we didn't want that because she's moved a lot recently and we want this to be her last move. It wasn't a good fit for her.

"Pretty facade, minimal care; beware Medicaid pitfalls."
This place may look nice, but it's more about appearances than actual care. They claim to offer specialized assistance for people with dementia, but it's not much help. If you only need basic services, it's okay, but anything more than that, and they fall short. The management team isn't trustworthy—they might even kick you out if you get hurt. And they'll try to keep taking your money for as long as possible. If your family member is on Medicaid, be careful because they might lose coverage if they move to the memory care section. Then you'll have to go through the hassle of reapplying when they need more care elsewhere. It's not all terrible, but it's not as good as they make it seem.

"Assisted Living Community Review"
This place was nice and the staff were great guides. They took their time showing us around and answered all our questions. But, I noticed there wasn't much activity among the residents, which worried me.

"Disappointing Experience at Inn: Short Staff, Poor Food, Communication Issues"
The Inn At University Village was good before. Now, it's not so good. They don't have enough staff all the time. The food is really bad, and they serve the main meal at lunch, which means dinner is small. That's not enough food until breakfast. They keep saying lettuce and tomato count as vegetables. A lot of people leave, and they always need new staff. Sometimes they have to get staff from other places, so it's never the same. The phones don't work well either. You can't even call to check on your family. We're leaving as soon as we can!

"Mom's Unhappy Stay at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom had a fall in the shower and needed to visit the hospital. She's not meant to shower alone, she needs someone with her. She also doesn't like the meals they serve. I get it, the place looks nice, but we've faced these and other problems. Talking to them can be tough. My mom doesn't really enjoy being there.

"Great care and attentive staff at a lovely facility"
My brother and I are really happy with the caring attention my mom gets at the Inn. The place is very nice, and the staff is super attentive to everything she needs.
