The Landing of Canton

"She Management and Care at This Assisted Living Facility"
The people running this place are just not up to snuff. The boss even hires pals instead of folks who know what they're doing! They never have enough staff, and it's the poor residents who pay the price. Don't count on this place if you want good care. They can't even hold onto their workers. Make your plans for somewhere else.

"Extra Charges at Assisted Living Upset Family"
We’re not pleased because they now charge $5 for delivering food trays to rooms. My uncle, who has dementia, doesn’t understand he’s being charged, even though I’ve told him. Last month, he got an extra $250 on his bill because he forgot and kept ordering. Before, when it was called the Landing, we didn’t have to pay for this service. Also, the costs have gone up twice since the new management. They shouldn’t have redecorated either; it was unnecessary. The older residents prefer classic styles over modern ones. It feels like they’re just wasting money.

"Family Recommended Memory Care at The Landing of Canton"
We've had a great time at The Landing of Canton. My family member is in the memory care unit and the staff have been really helpful to us. She always looks good when we visit and is always clean and neat. We visit every week. She's doing well here and we're happy with our choice. Our family would definitely tell others to consider The Landing.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
The care services were sometimes inconsistent; they needed outside help occasionally. Weekends lacked enough staff. Meals and dining services require significant improvement. Breakfast was the only good meal; lunch and dinner quality was poor. I didn't get to participate in activities, but they seemed promising.

"Nice people, clean place, confusing layout"
My mom and I both liked The Landing of Canton overall. Our biggest worry was that the residents lived on the 2nd floor and had to take an elevator down to the 1st floor for the dining room and other places. My mom felt like she might get lost. But the people there were very nice, and the place was very clean.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
I think the people there are really kind, but they're not very organized and don't communicate well with families. I've talked to different people in charge, but they all give me different answers. I know they're short on staff right now, but it's affecting how well they take care of our loved one. It would have been nice if they could give us a binder or packet explaining their procedures and what they need from us. That would have made moving in and getting used to things much easier. But I'm not worried about my loved one day to day. I think she's being well cared for overall.

"Compassionate Dementia Care"
I believe the community takes good care of residents with dementia.
