"Lovely Views and Balconies, But Chose Closer Location"
I thought The Lodge was really nice. I liked that the rooms had balconies, and the ones we saw had views of the lake. It was a very scenic place. The main reason we chose a different place was because it was closer to where we live and more convenient.

"Caring Staff and COVID Challenges"
Our father was very sick, and even after he passed away, the staff provided overwhelming support. They handled everything wonderfully. When our mother got sick with COVID, they checked in on her constantly. We can eat meals in our loved one's room, which is great. However, we wish we could also eat in the dining hall and participate in activities. Unfortunately, due to COVID, things are closed off.

"Mixed experience at assisted living; staff shortages and isolation."
I didn't understand the phone messages, and the food varies. Staff is nice, but they're short-staffed. My mom stays isolated due to Covid. I wish they'd encourage her to join activities.

"The staff's longevity matters."
My family member really enjoys it. The staff has been here a long time, and that makes a difference.

"No Covered Parking, Otherwise Great 2-Bedroom Cottages in Assisted Living"
Positive experience overall. The grounds are nice and there are good amenities. The cottages have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, each with a small patio and a place to hook up a washer and dryer. The only drawback is that there isn’t any covered parking available.

"Great care, affordable, spacious apartments, and amazing food!"
It's a great place where they really look after the residents. It's also quite affordable, the apartments are a good size, and the food is fantastic with lots of choices. I would definitely suggest this community to others, and I already have.

"Disappointing Experience: Negligence and Rudeness Aplenty"
I had a really bad experience with the Director of Nursing in relation to the unsafe release of a family member. There was absolutely no help offered with our insurance company. The assistance from the home care agency wasn't validated at all. They even sent my loved one home alone! It's just really heartbreaking and then they even had the audacity to be rude about it.

"Disregard for Workers and Resident Privacy at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is really old-fashioned. The staff here breaks privacy rules every day, sharing personal info with everyone, even the nursing director. They don't give good treatment to their workers. The nursing team is always working with too few people. You'll notice new people working here all the time. They also put up their own good reviews to trick you into thinking it's wonderful... so if you're just looking to ditch your parents and don't actually worry about them, this is the place for you!

"Medical Director Oversteps with Religious Views, Ignoring Patient Choices"
The staff at this assisted living facility are great, but the medical director has a big issue. She thinks her religious beliefs are more crucial than the patient's wishes. That's such a heavy load to bear, especially when you're trying to manage the needs of a loved one in a tough situation. Why should her religious ideas weigh more than a patient's thoughtful decisions about their own life? If you're thinking of boarding someone here, be ready. This "doctor" will try to make you follow her rules, not assist you in enforcing your choices and decisions.
