The Sheridan at Mason NOW OPEN

"Mixed Bag at Anthology of Mason"
The folks at Anthology of Mason are super friendly. The place stays clean, and it feels chill and cozy. But watch out for the admissions team—they tend to make big promises. When you need help, though, it can take forever to get a response. Also, if you dine in your room, they often mess up your order. And the staff? Well, they seem pretty worn out, showing up late and early, and sometimes they take ages with simple stuff like laundry.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Facility; Room for Improvement in Memory Care"
All the people who work at Anthology are really nice and always ready to help. The nurses are especially friendly and do a great job. My mom loves the food here, she says it's really good. There are lots of fun things to do in Assisted Living, but not as many in Memory Care. The building is very clean and they make sure the residents' rooms are tidy and their clothes are washed. My only issues are that there aren't enough activities for Memory Care and sometimes the staff isn't consistent in helping them get ready for bed at night. Waking everyone up in the morning is going well, but there's a bit of a problem with the routine in the evening. Overall, it's a wonderful place and I'm so glad we found it for my mom!

"Not Quite the Right Fit"
We visited Anthology of Mason, and the staff were very friendly. However, it didn't meet our expectations for my loved one. She wanted a fancier location with better amenities.

"Common Area Needs Cheer, But Overall Positive"
The tour went great! Our questions were answered before we even asked. Lots of info, all positive. The common area could be cheerier but has what residents need.

"Safe and Caring Environment, Needs More Engagement"
We are happy with the staff, and my Dad feels safe there. They have activities, but my Dad doesn’t join in. I wish someone would help him find an activity he likes to keep his mind active. Otherwise, it’s been what he needed because he couldn’t live alone anymore. We also had to hire someone privately to watch Dad from 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM to make sure he doesn’t fall when he gets up at night.

"Misleading Sales vs Reality at An Assisted Living Facility"
Sales Promises Didn't Match Quality of Care at Assisted Living" There's a big difference in what the sales team told us and the actual care my mom received. If your family member can't take care of themselves much, I wouldn't suggest choosing this place. The place looks great and it's designed well. There are lots of activities. The food tastes good and the dining area is nice. The people living here are really friendly. But what you're really paying for is the CARE. So, be aware and be ready to visit often if your family member needs help. We've had problems with not enough staff, keeping the place clean, no regular checks on residents, food, and mistakes with medication.

"Unimpressed with Sheridan; Happy at Magnolia Springs"
We checked out the Sheridan, thinking about placing my mom in their care. We were not at all impressed. The lady trying to sell us on the place, seemed totally lost. She gave us different costs every time we spoke. Looks like they only care about the cash. She'd ring me up every week to see if we decided. We picked Magnolia Springs instead and we are so much more pleased. Watch out, buyers.

"Memory care facility preferred over memory wing."
I chose a memory care facility instead of one with a memory wing.

"Great New Community with Helpful Staff"
Overall, our time at The Sheridan at Mason has been really good. The place is still new, so they are working out some kinks, but the staff is mostly very nice and helpful. They have fun activities like happy hour to keep everyone busy and social. The food is okay—not amazing, but there are choices, and the meals seem healthy. The maintenance guy works hard to keep everything clean and looking new. Overall, I would recommend The Sheridan.

"Mom Loves It Here!"
Everything is great here. Mom didn’t want to go at first, but now I can’t get her to leave. The staff is amazing and takes really good care of her. There’s nothing bad I can say. She even loves the food. There are always two choices for the main dish and five items that stay the same every day. The meals are always balanced and healthy. The place is super clean, and they do a full cleaning once a week. They also come in daily to tidy up and change the bedding. If anything else needs cleaning, they handle it right away.
