"Poor Care and Therapy in Assisted Living after Spine Surgery"

My hubby was at this place after surgery on his spine. The workers there were really friendly, but they didn't do what his doctor suggested. They didn't give him his meds as per the doctor. Two weeks after the surgery, they had him transported by wheelchair to get his stitches taken out. He hadn't sat up for a long time. He was really thirsty and his blood pressure was super low so they took him to the emergency room thinking he might have a serious infection. He didn't have it.. When they sent him home, they told me he needed a special lift and hospital bed. I said no. They brought him home in an ambulance and he was super confused. He was still really thirsty and his blood pressure was low. After three days at home, his blood pressure was normal. He's getting stronger and can move from his bed or chair to a wheelchair with a little help. He knows where he is and who he is. He's getting physical therapy and occupational therapy at home. Both the ladies who checked him out didn't get why he didn't get better therapy.

"Extremely Poor Care and Missed Medical Needs at Assisted Living"

Once, following my release from OSUH, I stayed at this assisted living facility. At discharge, I was on solid food, able to drink normally, and using a voice box. When I arrived at this place, I spent six grueling hours in a dark hallway waiting for a room to become available, even though they knew I was coming. Upon entering, they took me off solid food and drinks and, at one point, a night nurse even took away my voice box and lost it. Some of the staff members were good – polite and helpful. But the majority were rude and unprofessional. I was stuck in bed, immobile, and dependent on help for everything. One day I needed to use the bathroom and pressed the call button but received no reply. I soiled myself and still received no response to my call for help to get cleaned up. I was left in this uncomfortable situation for almost 16 hours, which included most of the first shift, all of the second shift, and half of the third shift. Towards the end of my stay, my insurance was ending. I was anticipating receiving a walker, a shower chair, tools to help put on socks and other reaching tools. However, they kept me on the therapy schedule longer than my insurance coverage, and by the time I checked out, it was past my insurance end date, and I was left with a $2000 bill for three additional days without any insurance or money. They knew this and took no action. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

"Poor Staffing and Lack of Care: Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"

My mom stayed here at first before we had to move her out. They didn't have enough staff to take care of her properly. They seemed like they didn't care about the residents and their needs. This was the worst experience we've had.

"Inadequate Care and Neglect at Assisted Living Facility"

This assisted living facility is downright TERRIBLE! The care for the most part is equally bad. My grandmother stays here, and it's been nothing but trouble. Visited just last Monday and found her room messy and she hadn't even had her bath, and it was nearly afternoon. Spotted exposed wires on her control device and saw stains all over her bedding and even on the curtains. She can't move around and her drawers were littered with uneaten snacks. Another drawer was filled with unexplained, random pills that no one cared to get rid of or explain. In the past three days, I've visited and complained multiple times. Yet, my worries went unheard on Tuesday. My grandmother can't care for herself. I came today, Wednesday, to find her grimacing from evident spasms. On top of that, the water pitcher from Tuesday is still here! I shared my worries with her assigned nurse who responded with such disrespect. I waited but when I checked, found she had left without bothering to follow up. I brought up my concerns again. I have absolutely no patience left with this place. After two hours, none of the three employees I talked to brought a fresh water pitcher. Right now, I'm reaching out to other facilities. I took pictures and wish I could share them. I would strongly advise not to leave even your pet goldfish here.

"Great choice with big rooms and lots of activities"

I looked at many places before finding this one. It’s great with big two-room apartments. There are lots of activities and outings for my mom. The staff seems to have been here for a while, and the place looks recently updated.

"Caring Staff and Tasty Bistro Options"

I think the staff is super attentive and caring. Plus, I really like their Bistro menu options. I'd totally recommend this place.

"Shocking Neglect at Assisted Living Facility Unveiled"

This facility is frankly terrible. They don't check on the residents unless they know you're on your way. When I found my father, he had already passed away and was in rigor mortis, which means they hadn't checked on him for at least 3 to 4 hours. Yet, they falsely assured us they had just seen him half an hour before I arrived. Once, my father was in immense pain and pushed the call light to ask for his regular and pain medications. Still, nobody came, despite me waiting and seeking help for three long hours. If you care about your family, I strongly advise against bringing them here.
