"Cedar Ridge Senior Living fails in terms of care and billing"
My dad stayed at Cedar Ridge Senior Living for less than two months before he tragically died from a fall. Before he passed, we provided a written 30-day notice that he wouldn't be staying and moved all his stuff out well before those 30 days. Even with doing all this, Cedar Ridge is still charging me like he's there. I've reached out by phone and email so many times, but they keep saying they'll look into it without following up. Even after contacting the Executive Director, I've received no response. This isn't OK. I would not suggest this place to anyone else. My dad didn't like it, and now I'm stuck dealing with clumsy staff. I really wish we had chosen a different place for Dad.

"Outdated Call Button and Secret Exit Codes"
They often change the exit code for the facilities, but they forget to tell family members the new code. To leave the facility, you have to find a worker and ask for the code. The call button for residents is really old, and they can't talk to the resident to find out what they need. It usually takes 30 minutes to an hour for someone to come to the room and address the issue.

"Mixed experience at Cedar Ridge Senior Living; lacks communication, organization."
My family member stayed at Cedar Ridge Senior Living, but it wasn't great. We moved them elsewhere. They greet new people warmly with a welcome basket and contact info, which seemed nice. But when I messaged the nurse with questions, sometimes I didn't get a reply. The nurses here aren't good at keeping in touch or staying organized. We had a big problem with my family member not getting their medicine because the med techs didn't follow the right steps. The food was alright, but it took a long time to reach the people who were supposed to eat it. I think they might not have enough staff or good help in all areas.

"Cedar Ridge Lacks Care and Communication"
I’m really let down by some things at Cedar Ridge. For starters, it’s just crazy how few staff they have. It seems like when folks hit their help button, nobody shows up, and it keeps happening. I’ve gone to the nurse’s desk about this twice in two months. They did say sorry, though. Then, they went and changed the entry code without telling us families. We’re also not getting the monthly event calendar by email, so we have no clue what’s going on with our loved ones. And there’s no church service on Sundays. My mom’s memory problems are getting worse, and just last Friday, I got a call asking if I’d be okay with her getting speech therapy. That’s if the doctor agrees and insurance says yes. It might help her think better. I’m just happy someone’s finally paying attention to her.

"Senior Living Community Starts Strong but Declines with Management Change"
We chose this place because it seemed perfect. It was as far from my brothers and me. They agreed to blend my dad's food. The workers were nice, and it was tidy, like you recommended. But Cedar Ridge senior living got new bosses halfway through my dad's stay, which I think was a terrible move. We noticed a big change from happy workers to tired and overwhelmed ones.

"Avoid This Heartless Assisted Living Facility"
The workers here are so not caring. They don't know how to be nice to the folks living there. Hiring nicer people could help. But really, I'd tell people to stay as far away as they can from that place.

"Frustration with Cedar Ridge's negligence prompts legal action."
My experience with Cedar Ridge was terrible. My dad was there for four days and they never gave him his insulin once! He had to be quickly taken to the emergency room on the third day. They made a mistake and let a blood clot form in his catheter. We tried to get Home Health to help three times, but they didn't show up for nearly two hours! Right now, I'm talking to lawyers to fight for my dad. His experience at Cedar Ridge was so bad, we're actually considering moving him to the VA in Claremore. He believes he's lost so much being at Cedar Ridge. I'm really upset about all of this. They don't even return phone calls, which has been another frustrating issue.

"Concerns about Staffing and Management in Assisted Living Facility"
The place is good and the rooms are big and well-maintained. But it seems like the people who run it are too busy and many staff leave. They fired one nurse and won't hire another, so now there's only one nurse for everyone in Assisted Living and Memory Care.

"Community Provides Great Care During Pandemic"
My family member liked the place when they arrived. Now, being alone so much has made them feel not so good. I don't blame the community for this. Overall, they've done a great job taking care of everyone during the pandemic.

"Aging Facility with Lovely Landscaping"
This place is getting older, but it's still nice. The big trees and landscaping make it lovely, and the facility is very pleasant.
