"Great staff and food, needs more activities"
The staff here is really great. The food is delicious. I just wish they had more activities to do. I would definitely tell others to choose Brookdale Edmond Danforth for their loved ones.

"Unsatisfactory Service and Care at Brookdale Assisted Living"
My family member was at Brookdale for some time before they caught Covid from a staff member and sadly passed away. The staff seemed nice, but there just weren't enough of them. People living there had to wait too long for help. They claimed they could do things they actually couldn't do. I feel my family member needed a lot more care than what they could give. After my family member passed, they still made us pay for an additional month. We had to work hard as a family to get our money back. I don't think I'd suggest this place to others. Hopefully, this gives you an idea of what we experienced in Brookdale.

"Mixed Experience at Brookdale Assisted Living"
We had some good and not-so-good experiences at Brookdale. The meals were really enjoyable for Mom, and she ate better than ever. She also loved the activities and the people who came to entertain. Most of the staff treated her well, especially the maintenance person and many of the servers during dinner. However, we were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of her room – it didn't seem vacuumed enough. Some staff members were a bit hard to deal with, and [[name removed]], the nurse, seemed a bit dismissive. They could improve how they manage visitors too. Sometimes it was hard to find someone to let me out, and a few acted like I was bothering them. Overall, it was okay for the short term, but if we have to move Mom again, we'll probably try a different place.

My experience was good. I felt they took good care of my loved one. We had excellent options to visit as a family. She said the food was really good too.

"Overall, a good experience."
Our time at Brookdale has been positive! They were friendly and informative during the tour and move-in process. The care for our loved one has been good. They handled emergency medical situations well.

"Great Facility, Expensive Rates"
I visited this facility to check it out for my friend, but she wasn't too happy with it. I personally thought it looked really nice. Everything I saw seemed wonderful. The staff was really nice and helpful. They answered all my questions and were very informative. However, their prices were a bit too high for what we can afford. Also, her room would have been on the third floor, and she doesn't like using elevators. Overall, though, it's a decent community.
