"Assisted Living Facility Review: Room for Improvement"

The workers need better training and communication among themselves. This could be risky for the people living there. The workers are nice, but they haven't followed my nana's care plans properly. She needs more help than she's getting. They should've been more helpful when she first came, but it felt like they did the opposite. I think my nana would've taken better care of herself if she was at home. They've listened to some complaints and gotten better in some areas, but I'm worried about other residents whose families can't be as involved.

"Lack of Cleaning, Poor Communication and Care at Assisted Living Facility"

Initially, everything seemed pretty good when my mom and dad moved into the assisted living facility. They were there for more than 3 years. However, problems began to appear after the first 9 months. We noticed they had a hard time keeping a director - when one would leave, others followed which led to a lot of staff turnover. There was also an issue with my parents' medications not being administered correctly. We had to file many complaints before the issue was fixed. Once the Covid pandemic hit, communication was absolutely awful. When we were finally allowed inside our parents' home again, it was evident that cleaning had been neglected. The lobby looked great, but the residents' rooms were disgusting. When we brought these issues up, the Director simply responded that they were understaffed, as if that was supposed to resolve our concerns. We even pointed out that her office door had an air leak. The fix? Covering it with packing tape. We reached out to corporate and the Director with our concerns, but got no response. In the end, we decided to move our parents to a more reliable facility nearby.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

This place sometimes runs out of food because not enough folks pick fish, a big problem. The chef is great. My family member enjoys activities. Weekday staff is fantastic, but there are not enough on weekends. Cleaners don’t change sheets regularly. They take my family member to physical therapy twice a week, which is fantastic.

"Overall, recommended."

They handle meds well, but rooms need cleaning. Recommended overall.

"Friendly place with fun activities, but sometimes understaffed"

The Legend Assisted Living community is a lovely place, and our loved one is doing really well there. Everyone is super nice and friendly, but sometimes they don’t have enough staff, so it can take a bit longer to get help. There are lots of activities to do, and they have a board that shows everything going on. Our loved one really likes the bingo and arts and crafts.

"Good facility, friendly staff, higher cost."

This place is nice. Staff is friendly, but pricier.

" "Unsafe and Unkept Facility Increases Fee, Refuses Refunds""

I wouldn't recommend you spend your money to put your family members in this facility. You'd probably put your dear one at risk if you chose this place. The nurses, who are supposed to be directly involved, pass off all family inquiries to home health aides. The tech guys just tell us or the resident to report the problem. There was one instance where my family member's sheets weren't replaced for three weeks, and the tech advised us to report it. Eventually, they confessed via email that it had been over a month since my loved one's room was cleaned. To top it all, they upped the price by 15% for the monthly bill. Despite not providing adequate care for my loved one, they refused to refund us when we moved our family member out of the facility. The carpets weren't washed regularly and necessary repairs weren't timely. They fixed a cold air issue by taping up the door, blocking residents from the courtyard. And they were understaffed, especially in maintenance and housekeeping. .

"Personalized Dining Experience at Assisted Living Facility"

I had the chicken fried chicken, which is a dish we really enjoy here! They remember that I don't like gravy, so I always feel like my meal is made just for me.
