"Disappointed with Assisted Living Facility’s Care and Dining"
My husband and I chose this place to care for my 93-year-old husband who couldn’t walk due to a long-term nerve condition. He needed help at night for the bathroom and showers. But after two weeks, we stopped using the “Help Button” because help took up to 50 minutes to come, and every new helper didn’t know what to do. It made it hard to sleep again. I joked we should pay less, but my husband didn’t want to cause trouble, so I kept helping him. Later, he got really sick with heart problems and had to take lots of water pills. He had to wake up every hour or two, and even with an alarm, the bed would still get wet until he had to use “diapers” with extra pads. And the food here is the WORST! It’s supposed to be the best part of living at Legend.

"So far, so good!"
Things here are a mix of good and not-so-good. Since it’s the only place we’ve experienced, I can’t compare it to others. On the positive side, the facility is clean and stands out when you visit. They take good care of residents, and it’s a beautiful place. However, they could improve mealtime—sometimes plates are left out for only 30 minutes, which might not be enough for everyone. They do regular rounds to check on people, which is great. On the assisted living side, there are plenty of activities, but the memory care side has fewer options, mostly movies. Communication could be better; they take a while to get back to me. Still, they’re quick to fix any issues and make us feel heard.

"Limited Accessibility for Wheelchairs"
The staff at the Legend at Tulsa Hills are nice, and the place is tidy. But I wish they had wheelchair-accessible rooms. It's tough for my loved one because the rooms and common areas aren't designed for wheelchairs.

"Staff Friendly, Encourage More Activities, Clean Community, Good Food"
The people who work here are really nice, but I think they should try to get the residents more involved in the things they do every day. There's only one registered nurse and one other nurse on duty. The place is kept clean, and the food tastes good. They also help tidy up her apartment and wash her clothes.

"Unfriendly Staff and Dated Environment"
The second I stepped into this place, I sensed it wasn't right for my family member. It felt gloomy and old-fashioned compared to other places I visited. The staff acted impolite and unhelpful. Whenever I asked a question, they'd just say, 'I don't know; I'll get back to you,' but I never got that call. I wouldn't suggest this facility to anyone.
