"Avoid Morada-owned facilities, drastic change in quality"
My family member stays at Morada Lake Hefner. Initially, this place was really good. Everything was perfect for my family member until Morada took over. I'm writing this to warn others to not come here. I don't suggest any place that Morada owns.

"Assisted Living Review: Good, Not Great, but Safe and Reliable"
I think it’s alright. It’s not anything special, but it’s not a scary, run-down place. I don’t have any real complaints. The staff tries a bit harder, but I understand it’s tough for anyone to take care of my mom given her condition.

"Assisted living facility needs better management; lacks safety measures."
Review: This place needs someone better to run it. The boss right now makes too many promises they can't keep. They've had three bosses in a year, and the nurse also left. She said she's going to work in a prison where they follow all the rules. I'm not making this up, I'm quoting her exactly. They said the chef would make food for my stomach problem, but that didn't happen. One chef tried hard, but they cut her hours to only three days a week. I had to buy my own food, which I think is unfair considering how much I paid to stay here. They changed me from a short-term guest to a full-time resident without telling me, so when I tried to leave early in February, they kept my money because I didn't give 30 days' notice. I didn't even know I had to do that. They only gave me all the rules and regulations the day before I left. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I heard they have new owners, I hope they make it better. There are people here who could fall and hurt themselves; it's not safe unless you're completely mobile and don't have memory problems. They said it's not a place for people with memory issues, but there are several people with Dementia living here.

"Northhaven Falls Short in Care for Dad"
I'd say North haven wasn't the best choice for my dad. They weren't ready for the care he needed. Most of the staff were friendly, except for two people the charge nurse. Communication was mostly good. The cook and some aides were exceptional. North haven contracts out for home health, PT, and OT. It would've been better if they had in-house services. Sadly, my dad passed away from a foot infection that caused other problems. He felt really down while at North haven. I think the whole medical system let him down, but I'm grateful he's with the Lord.

"Friendly Staff and Active Atmosphere, Consideration Needed for Noise"
Northaven Place would probably have been our second choice. I really liked all the staff here; they were so kind and friendly. When we visited, there were lots of residents joining in activities, which was nice! But it was pretty loud, and I don't think my loved one would have liked that. The carpets could definitely use a remodel. Also, it was quite a long walk for her to get to meals and things. I do think she would have received great care here if we had chosen them.

"Facility Struggles Without Local Leadership"
The helpers here are super nice and caring. But, we don’t have any local bosses. The big company in charge got rid of our old nursing leader and the new boss too because they had to. Now, without local bosses, things aren’t working right. The big company is really trying to help and fix things. They’re nice to me and want to make it better. But it’s hard for them to sort everything out without local people leading. Stuff like showers and clean clothes for our family member isn’t happening anymore. The place looks good and used to be known for being great, but at the moment, it’s all over the place.

"Tour Guide Inexperienced, Management Unavailable; Decided to Move On"
The person showing us around the place had just started there, so they didn't know much about it. We were supposed to talk to the bosses afterward, but they were too busy. They never got back to us, so we chose not to stay.

"Assisted Living Review: Kind Staff, Covid Challenges, Overall Positive Experience"
I thought the director was really nice and helpful. Covid happened soon after we moved in. At first, we were happy. We loved it and were excited, and my loved one was doing well. It wasn't their fault with the restrictions. But all outside services and therapies couldn't come in, and my loved one started to get worse. I don't have anything bad to say about Northaven. As far as I know, they were good. I was worried things might get worse without being able to go inside, but nothing concerning has happened to me.

"A Pleasant Assisted Living Experience"
I liked this place. The apartments were a good size, and there are only 35 of them. The dining area looked nice and friendly. The staff I talked to were helpful. Their program seemed right. But it depends on whether they can find enough workers in today's job market. I noticed they were hiring for two positions. There was a sign outside.

"Assisted living facility with nursing home vibe budget-friendly option."
I checked out this place for my mom. Compared to others, it wasn't my favorite. It kinda smelled like a nursing home, but they tried to cover it up with a strong smell. The building seemed fine, though. The person who showed me around was nice and knew their stuff. It's good for families watching their budget.

"Convenient Location a Concern for Assisted Living Facility Tour"
When I visited the community, everything seemed fine. The only issue was the location. It's on the north side of town, but really far west. It's farther than we'd prefer. If we choose this place for my in-law, it would mean a long drive for the family.

"Delightful Place!!"
My sister recently moved into this community, and we’re very pleased. The staff is delightful, and I’m comfortable with her care. Initially, she struggled with the meal plan, but now she enjoys the food and dining experience. Overall, it’s the perfect choice for my sister.

"Nice, Friendly, and Clean Community"
We liked this place a lot, but my father-in-law found another place with a two-bedroom for the same price. This community is really nice and the staff are super friendly. Everything was clean and well taken care of.

"Unimpressive Visit to Assisted Living Facility in 2012"
In 2012, I went to check out this assisted living place. They were in 'lock down' because a resident had wandered off. I couldn't see any employees around, so, I just walked in. I was standing in the lobby for more than 10 minutes before anyone showed up to help me. Seriously, I wasn't Wow-ed at all.
