"A Surprising and Accessible Choice for Loved Ones"
Morada wasn't what I expected when looking for a place for my loved one. I hesitated to put her in a facility due to horror stories about poor care. But Morada surprised me the staff are attentive, and residents have autonomy. I chose it for these reasons: 1. Fixed memory care cost, 2. Homey atmosphere, 3. Easy visitation access.

"Family Member Neglected at Assisted Living Facility"
This place was really bad. My family member didn't get the right care or treatment. It was a complete disaster. My relative didn't get her medicines the way she should have or kept clean as needed. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.

"Mixed Review for Assisted Living Facility"
The staff was really nice. They did try to plan activities. However, they could be more organized with cleaning and laundry. I think other families might like it here.

"Great staff and fun activities!"
This has been a positive experience. The staff communicate well with our family about our loved one and help them settle in. Residents can choose from daily activities like crafts, movies, and games.

"Costly and corporate vibe, but pleasant ambiance at Ten Oaks Place"
Ten Oaks Place seemed like a nice place. We wanted a smaller place that felt cozy and comfortable, more like home. Here, it feels more like a business, and it's also pricier than we can manage.

"Great Place, But No Advantage Care Certification"
We had a good tour at Ten Oaks Place. It’s a big place with lots of activities going on. They had a clear schedule, so you always knew what was happening. The only reason we didn’t choose them is they can’t take Advantage Care from the state for people who qualify. We didn’t want to move our loved one later.

"Brutal Isolation and Negligence at Ten Oaks Assisted Living"
Ten Oaks kept my grandparents apart from us the whole year. They didn't allow me to see my grandpa when he was really sick, until the special nurse got mad for us. We had to clean my grandpa's room through his window a while back because it was extremely dirty. Mom got rejected when she tried making plans to visit grandma during Christmas. They said we could only see her through the window. But when mom said that grandma doesn't have a window, they cheekily wished us “Merry Christmas” and disconnected the call. To make matters worse, an employee gave my grandma coronavirus. It's looking like she might not make it. I just don't understand how keeping my grandparents away from us has made their life any better?

"Well-cared-for Mom, activities, friendly staff, communication challenges, staffing shortages noted."
Ten Oaks memory care is great for my Mom. She’s cared for well and enjoys activities. Staff understand her needs and do their best to help her. There's a noticeable smell and needs thorough cleaning. Living far away (600 miles), it's hard to reach staff who can update me about Mom’s condition because she can’t answer her phone. When I do get through, they are friendly and provide adequate updates. Sometimes, though, I call during mealtimes when there's a shortage of staff.
