"Not So Independent: The Fountains Falls Short"
I didn’t find The Fountains impressive. When I visited for a tour, it felt more like a nursing home than independent living.

"Unsatisfactory Skilled Nursing Care: Basic Needs and Professionalism Lacking"
Wouldn't Recommend This Place for Mom's Care. Had to regularly remind staff to provide basic necessities like soap and towels. Even getting her a bath was a challenge. Most of the staff, including Doctor were less than professional, with the exception of a few. They were seriously understaffed and didn't have enough supplies for daily care. Considering how much the insurance is paying, the services provided are disappointing. Every time I leave her for the night, I feel awful. I'd strongly advise against bringing your loved ones here. It's worth paying extra for facilities like Village Baptist or Epworth Villa.

"“Heartbreaking Experience at Inadequate Assisted Living Facility""
This assisted living facility is not where I'd prefer for my mom's two-week Nursing Care stay. We consistently had to request simple items - soap, towels, even assistance for my mom's bath. The professionalism of the staff and doctors leaves much to be desired, with a few exceptions. It's very apparent that they're understaffed and lack the necessary supplies for daily care. Considering the substantial amount my mom's insurance is paying them, the provided services are disappointingly inadequate. Each night I leave her there, I find myself anxious and upset. Please, don't put your loved ones through this. .

"Needs better food."
At The Fountains, pleasant apartments, helpful staff, but limited kitchen amenities.

"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Lacks Basic Amenities and Security"
We noticed a few issues at this place. No one was at the front desk on weekends, and the entry door was always open. The apartments looked shabby, and the bathroom setup was not good. There was nowhere to put a microwave or even a coffee pot. We expected more for the price, especially since this place was the most expensive one we checked out. We'll keep looking elsewhere.

"Appealing community with pond view, friendly staff. Research before touring."
I found this community very attractive. It has a beautiful view of a pond with a pleasant walking path behind it. The staff seemed friendly. It's important to research before visiting any of these facilities so you can understand what you're looking for.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
This place seemed pretty good. It was clean and nice. The people who work there and live there were friendly. But, it didn’t have everything we were looking for. Still, I’d consider it for my brother.

"Spacious and Well-Appointed Assisted Living Facility"
“Currently, there are no openings. Prices range from $4500 to $5100 at The Gardens, with a $1000 community fee. Each home has 15 beds, and there are two homes. The staff-to-resident ratio is 1 to 7.5. Rooms are unfurnished, but the semi-private rooms are nicely arranged. The grounds are very large and well-kept, and the campus is secluded.”

"Mixed feelings about new facility; great staff and meals."
I think this place has been good for my parents. The staff is very friendly. The only issue is that it's new, so they moved people in before finishing some things. When my parents moved in, they were still painting. The meals are the best part; my parents really like the food.

Scott and Amy know who we are
"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short, Neglects Residents' Needs"
My mom wasn't taken care of properly. They promised daily check-ins but failed. Transition to assisted living took over 3 months despite 4 requests. Housekeeping is meant to clean every two weeks, but it happens every two months instead. Broken screen door and air conditioner weren't fixed for over 2 months despite repeated requests. When we moved Mom, other residents and dining staff said goodbye, but Scott and Amy, the managers, didn't acknowledge us during our 2-day stay. It's a disappointment. Our lawyer is handling all communication with them now.
