"Looking for a Brighter, Cheerier Atmosphere"
We toured Avamere at Albany and felt the atmosphere was kind of dark and plain. We wanted a place that feels bright and cheerful when you walk in.

"Staff Resignations Raise Concerns at Assisted Living Facility"
Please check out how they are unable to retain staff. As soon as they understand the reality behind those doors, they resign. Four just left recently– one medical aide and one staff member for over forty people. Kindly tell me I'm wrong. I urge someone to investigate this situation.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
This place has friendly staff and nice activities. Food's alright, but they seem shaky on taking care of patients. Not great for serious physical issues.

"Great place, but broken promises on services"
We really like the facility and the friendly atmosphere. However, they promised us certain services that they now won't provide. We don't think that's fair. We thought they would handle medical care and transportation, but they don't.

"Assisted Living with Personal Attention and Excellent Food Quality"
Cambridge Terrace Assisted Living Community is smaller than others I considered, giving my mother more personal attention. The food is really good and the location is convenient. The only issue was when they moved my mother to level 2 care without informing me, resulting in a higher bill. After I raised my concern, they agreed to communicate changes beforehand. There haven't been other problems, and they are responsive to resolving issues. Overall, they're very good, and I'd recommend them.

"Avoid this Facility if Loved Ones Need Specialized Care"
We realized this place just couldn't handle taking care of our parents who have dementia. Their cleanliness was always a big problem. Smelly rooms, dirty spaces, and bad condition of beds were always a struggle. We wouldn't tell any family who wants help for their dear ones to go here. If you only need a place to stay and can take care of yourself, then it might work.

""Assisted Living in Albany Disappoints""
Assisted living is not my favorite; plus it's in Albany, not Corvallis.

"Great Place, Needs Elder Care Loans"
We visited this place while looking for a home for our loved one. It looked really nice and clean at first glance. One thing I suggest is that Cambridge Terrace should offer Elder Care Loans. This would help families who are in a tough spot and waiting for their money to come through. If they had this, Cambridge Terrace would have been our top choice.

"Great care and comfortable living, but a bit pricey"
We had my father stay there for about two weeks before he passed away. The care was excellent; they coordinated with hospice and checked on him every hour. The staff were very welcoming and professional. They have a private dining room and went over all the details with us. I have to admit, I didn’t know the exact cost at first, but it was competitive. It was about $165 a day for both the care and the studio apartment. The apartment had a kitchenette, a chair, and a sofa bed. It was bright, well-lit, and the facilities were well-maintained.
