"Overpriced Facility Lacks Quality Care and Proper Food"
My mom or dad digs into their own money to live here. You guys say you have gluten free food, but it's never around. The cost to live here is always going up, but the quality of care is getting worse. The people in the dining room don't know what they're doing. There's only one cleaning lady who's really good. She cleans everything by herself. You guys don't have enough workers. We have to wait 45 minutes for food that doesn't even taste good. There's no one here who knows about healthy eating. Old folks don't need sandwiches all the time, they need real food in the right amounts. My parent is definitely not getting their money's worth here.

My loved one says she enjoys the food. This place cares for the residents with respect and dignity. She loves the outings, bingo, and exercise classes. They keep her active and engaged.

"Great community with no bad smell during the pandemic"
This community has been wonderful during the pandemic. I suggest checking it out for your loved ones. Unlike other places I've been, this one doesn’t have a bad smell.

"Disorganized Assisted Living Needs Improvement"
Wow, this place is a mess! The new staff doesn't seem to know what they're doing, and the training is seriously lacking. Hopefully, the new owner can turn things around.

"Review: Unorganized Facility with Inconsistent Staff and Overcrowded Spaces"
This place is really unorganized - there's forever new faces among the staff because they're always leaving. Plus, they're always changing up the place to make it look nice, but it's not cozy for the people living here. Lots of us depend on wheelchairs or walkers and there's just too many people in the place. We thought we were going to get full care, but it feels more like we're just getting a little help.

"Comfortable and welcoming assisted living facility for temporary stays."
I was looking for a place for my friend during his cancer treatment. Oak Park was nice, quiet, and the staff was really friendly. They got him in right away, and the facility isn't too big. The dining room is like a regular restaurant, not too fancy.

"Quality slipping, caregivers dedicated but overworked."
I've noticed a decline in quality here. Caregivers are dedicated but overworked.

"Disappointing Experience at Oak Park Assisted Living"
Oak Park has nice caregivers and med aides, but that's about it. The director and other managers don't really talk to residents. The food is just okay, and it takes forever to get served. My mom pays $7700 each month, so I thought we'd get better service...

"Not suited for active seniors seeking stimulus; clean facility."
This place is only for people who need help with living. We're not ready for that kind of help yet. The building was tidy. But, I didn't think we'd have enough activities to keep us interested. Plus, we seemed more energetic than the people who live there. It just wasn't right for us.
