"Clean, Friendly, and Fun Assisted Living Facility"
I visited a friend at Meadowlark and found it very nice. The building looked great and was really clean, which isn't always the case with assisted living places. The staff I talked to were super friendly and uplifting. They had activities planned for the residents, and while I was there, Safe Haven brought in puppies for everyone to enjoy. Overall, I thought it was a nice place.

"Mixed feelings about a modern, chilly assisted living facility."
We toured a new facility, but it felt a bit cold. Staff was helpful.

"Disappointing Experience: Assisted Living Falls Short on Promises"
I'm sharing my thoughts on this assisted living place. The food isn't like what they say in their ads. They claim it's all homemade, healthy, and tasty, but it's actually full of carbs, not good for the heart or for folks with diabetes. It tastes like frozen, cheap stuff. They serve tiny portions and it's hard to get seconds. Plus, they want to charge $5 to bring meals to those who can't go to the kitchen. And when they do bring it, it's cold. They also leave trash in the halls for a long time, and it stinks up the place. The people who give out meds only have three days of training, which isn't enough. Sometimes they forget to give a pill or can't find it. And the staff used to be caring, but now there aren't enough of them. There's sometimes only two during the day for 75 residents, and just one at night.
