If all you're looking for is a room and you're pretty self-sufficient, then you might like living here. But if you need any help, like even getting meals brought to you, I'd steer clear. For my family, it was a really horrible experience.

I wouldn't suggest this place for loved ones. They promised care items but didn't deliver. Housekeeping, like taking out the trash and vacuuming, was neglected. Once, a resident was screaming, and I couldn't find any staff to help. I had to call the night line for assistance. The meals served were tiny portions for the residents. They did offer different activities for residents to join in.

The staff person who handles marketing was really friendly and helpful. The facility was being renovated, so it felt unfinished with boxes and plastic sheeting around. The community space for gatherings was smaller than other places, but they had a unique layout with an internal courtyard. Families worried about their loved ones wandering might find this a good choice.

The director of the community was great, but there were some problems with billing. If you have Kizer insurance, avoid this place. They had issues with paperwork multiple times. I wouldn't suggest this community to others.

Brookdale Mt. Hood was a big, roomy, and tidy place we visited. The workers were super nice and smart, and they answered all our questions. We picked a different place because it fit our budget better.

"Great services, needs better communication and more activities"
Everything is going great for my mom. They could improve on letting us know the times and dates for her showers. I’m pretty happy with the services. She wishes there were more activities. She enjoys and is happy with the outings. I chose this place because they had an opening and she really liked that they have Bible study and church on Sunday. The same pastor leads the service and visits the residents too.

I visited this place to find care for my mom. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions about the care provided. The menu looked good with a lot of different choices. They also had many activities, and the residents appeared to be engaged. At the time, we needed a different type of care, but we liked this place and would suggest it to other families.

This place was pretty nice. We needed a spot for my aunt fast, and the staff quickly made room for her. It's clean and looks after well. The food looks good, and they have stuff to do here. Other families should check it out for their loved ones.
