"Friendly staff and good location make this Brookdale a winner"
My mom really likes the staff at this place. They are very kind and friendly to her. I would definitely recommend this place. I haven’t seen anything that concerns me. We chose this Brookdale because we liked what we saw on our tour and it’s close to where I live. Plus, when she runs out of her retirement money, she can stay here and use Medicare and Medicaid.

"Inadequate Care, Overworked Staff at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility"
When I dropped by to see my old friend at Brookdale, they'd left her meal in the living area even though she can't get out of bed. There wasn't even a fork or spoon around. The food was normal, not pureed, and she choked on the turkey I had to feed her with my hands. The hospice had told me she was supposed to get help with meals, but Brookdale didn't have enough staff to do it. I tried the call button three times, but for the 25 minutes I was there, nobody showed up. I know the caregivers do their best and are probably overworked, not paid or trained enough, and there aren't enough of them. It seems like they're always hiring new people, which makes sense given their work conditions. Brookdale might be okay for older people who need a little help, but it's definitely not equipped to provide nursing care or take care of people with dementia. My friend even tried to leave the building once, only to be stopped by another visitor. You'd have to drop by every day at Brookdale to make sure your loved ones are getting the care they need.

"Great experience with staff, facility, and meal choices"
We’ve had a good experience here. This place is nicer physically than other local communities. The staff communicates well with our family. They serve three meals a day, and my loved one has choices for at least two of those meals.

"Assisted Living Review: Pet-Friendly but Small Cottages"
This place was pretty good, they took care of it well. It had what we needed: allowed pets and had cottages. But those cottages were smaller than I wanted. And instead of a patio, they had a deck, which didn't suit our small dog. When we visited, the staff were nice and helpful, and the people living there seemed happy.
