"Smaller Than Expected"
The community was okay, but it was smaller than we hoped.

"Challenges with Staffing, but Welcoming Environment and Caring Staff"
The assisted living facility makes you feel really welcomed. Like many places now, they're having trouble finding enough staff. But overall, they do a good job. My loved one needed more care than we thought, so it took time for everyone to adjust. Still, it's a friendly community with a beautiful setting. The staff are caring and know what they're doing. And the food is pretty good, especially considering it's from an institution.

"Beautiful Apartments with Friendly Staff; Food Options Limited"
It's been really good. I haven't had any big problems yet. I think you should check it out and see if you like it. The people who work here are really nice. Everyone is friendly. You might need to buy a lot of fresh groceries though, because they almost never serve fresh food. But my apartment is absolutely gorgeous. I have huge windows that I adore.

"Great staff and location, very satisfied overall."
My wife and I have lived here for two and a half years. Overall, it’s been good to great. The staff who have been here long-term are fantastic—they really know what they’re doing. It's a great group of people in a really nice location.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
If you're staying short-term, it's okay. But for long-term, look elsewhere. They help a lot, but it's expensive. Sometimes it took forever to get help after pressing my pendant. Activities were almost nonexistent. I liked some staff, but I'm happier elsewhere now.

"Warm Welcome and Compassionate Care"
My mom moved to Brookdale at Brushy Creek after living in her home for 50 years. The staff at Brookdale welcomed her warmly, and she quickly felt at ease in her new residence. It gave me peace of mind knowing she received compassionate care.

"Assisted Living Tour Disappointing, Rooms Smaller Than Expected"
I wasn't super impressed with this place when we toured it. The guy who showed us around was nice, but we only saw him. I talked to a couple of people who live there, and they said it's better than where they were before. But I thought the place looked a bit old and the rooms were smaller than I thought they'd be.

"Assisted Living Dining Experience Falls Short in Several Aspects"
The dining room feels too chilly, and service drags on. Waiting for water takes forever. The food is just okay; it could be better. The meat is tough, and there's an overload of chicken dishes. On the bright side, the strawberry blintzes are delicious.

"Mixed Feelings at Oswego Springs"
Oswego Springs seems okay. It's a small community, maybe around 75 people, so there aren't many group activities. Most residents have some kind of disability. The meals are just okay, not fancy, and the service is frustratingly slow.
