"Subpar Food & Isolation Issues at Timber Point Assisted Living"
It's confusing to me why Timber Point constantly runs out of food. On top of that, the variety of food they offer isn't great either. A couple of weeks back, the residents quit going to the dining hall because the food quality was so poor. Employees started delivering meals to each resident's room, and they usually charge for this... Another issue I've noticed with this place is that they seem to rather have residents cut off from their loved ones. This isn't healthy for older adults. The staff here are always threatening residents with eviction if they don't comply with their demands - right or wrong. I'd strongly recommend that anyone considering moving here chat with current residents to understand their experiences before making a decision.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Facility"
We visited an assisted living place. It's tough deciding to move there, and the shift can be really stressful. We wanted to be sure about choosing this nice place, so we visited on a weekend. When we got there, nobody was at the front desk to welcome us. After a long wait, some residents came up to us to help. While we waited, we talked to the residents about how they liked living there. They were happy with the food and the helpers who care for them. But they didn't have good things to say about the administrator. They said the administrator doesn't listen to concerns, isn't helpful, and acts cold. They warned us not to expect much from the administrator if we move in, but said everyone else is okay. The talk with the residents left us feeling worried and unsure.

"Worrisome Living Conditions at Assisted Living Facility"
My advice? Visit this assisted living facility for yourself. Listen to the guide, but also go beyond what they're showing you. Pay attention to the people who live there and the staffers too. Try to get a feel for the place by talking to the residents and employees. Not many of the residents seem visibly pleased. One resident even shared with me his worries, saying that he can't voice his opinions without fearing he'll be kicked out. Something has to change here. The management and staff need an evaluation. No resident should be scared to express their concerns.

"Solid Assisted Living with Room for Improvement"
Brookdale Springfield Briarwood is a nice place for seniors. They generally do things well, but some staff could use more training. Also, they need better organization with finances and billing. The food is okay, not great. However, the activities are fantastic. My mom loves making cards and coloring. They also have arts, crafts, games, and live music. The place is very clean overall. I think it's a good choice for others looking for a place like this.

"Worth Exploring"
I visited this community recently, and everything went smoothly. The property is beautiful and well-maintained for residents. Although it wasn’t the right fit for us, it’s worth checking out.

"Small and Friendly Place, but Not Quite Right"
I had a good experience touring this community. The staff arrived promptly for our appointment and were really nice. They gave us a lot of useful information and answered all our questions. However, my mom just liked smaller communities better than what they had here.

"Excellent care and quick setup made vacation stress-free."
I found Emeritus at Springfield when I urgently needed respite care for my mom. The care I had arranged fell through just five days before my vacation. A Place for Mom helped us find space at Emeritus, and they were great at getting us set up quickly. They also helped Mom settle in and addressed her specific needs. She enjoyed her stay, and I was able to relax on my vacation, knowing Mom was well cared for.

"Struggling with Timely Care, Hoping for Improvement"
We're not happy with how quickly they give the care our family member needs. It's been a month and a half, and we're waiting for them to get better at this. We believe they'll eventually give her the right care.

"Assisted Living Facility Review: Nice but Too Expensive for Us"
The place was really nice, but my mom thought it was a bit too fancy for her. We only saw Briarwood, not the Woodside. They said Woodside is less fancy. Overall, it's very costly. Money was a big deal. Mom's in assisted living, but she doesn't even need level one care. Still, they wanted more money from her even though she wouldn't get extra care.
