Cascade Valley Assisted Living and Memory Care

"Horrible Care at Facility, Neglect Leading to Dehydration and Starvation"
Avoid this place at all costs. The staff, do nothing to aid the elderly, especially not my mom. Every time I intervened to assist her, the staff would nullify my efforts. For instance, she couldn't even reach the call lights. They did nothing for her, no food, nothing. She was at care level 5. I think she was left to starve and dehydrate.

"Friendly Staff, Some Improvements Needed"
The staff is super helpful. I wish bingo lasted 2 hours, and we need more afternoon activities. Also, those parking signs have been missing for 2 months! Still, I'd recommend this place to anyone.

"Great care and cleanliness, but hard to reach staff"
They did a great job with care and cleanliness. I was really impressed with how clean everything was. The main problem was trying to contact them. A lot of times I got an answering machine and didn't get a call back. I had to try different numbers to reach someone. That's what they need to fix. But the people, care, and cleanliness were all good.

"Good Care, But Management Issues"
Moved our mom into assisted living. Since then, the management has changed at least four times! Overall, the care staff are really good, but when they are short-staffed, some of the help they are supposed to give doesn’t happen. I think this is because the management keeps changing. With all these changes, we’ve had many issues with management. One person tells you one thing, the next person tells you something totally different. The care staff has mostly been good with mom. She likes the meals, has made new friends, and has become more social. She enjoys being there. Except for the management, our overall experience has been positive.

"A Welcoming and Helpful Assisted Living Community"
We liked this smaller community with 47 units—it was a better fit for our mom. The apartments were very clean, and we appreciated the different options shown to us. The staff was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions. She made our mom feel welcome and comfortable, even offering assistance to start the moving process.
