Edgewood Point Assisted Living and Memory Care

"Needs Improvement for Alzheimer's Care, Decent for Others"
This place isn't the best for folks with Alzheimer's. Only the activities person seemed good at their job. Cleaning was alright. Talking with staff was alright too. Starting out was nice, but things got worse after. Food was really good. But if they're gonna have Alzheimer's patients, they gotta make big changes. For people who just need a little help, they're probably fine.

"Administration Falls Short in Assisted Living Facility"
I think the administration isn't very responsive to my concerns and needs. Unfortunately, considering the price range, it's probably as good as it gets.

"Top-Notch Assisted Living Experience"
I recommend this place. I looked at many others, but the staff, care, and facility here were the best. After a year, my mom is still happy and thriving.

"A Welcoming Home-Like Community with Caring Staff"
Edgewood Point Assisted Living and Memory Care is a smaller place, which makes it feel more like a family. The staff are really friendly and always talk to us well. The place is always clean. I visit my mom a couple times every week and it's always clean. When I've been there at meal time, the food has been good. Yesterday they had crab cakes, mixed veggies, rice, and a roll for lunch and it was really good. The staff always checks with us when we're there to make sure things are okay and to see if we have any questions or things we want to talk about. The Activities Director is awesome, she really gets the residents involved and always has something going on for them. She's a big part of why we chose to put mom here. She really cares about her job and wants to help the residents. I would tell others to come here.

"Mixed Experience: Friendly Staff, Nice Apartment, But Subpar Food"
The people who work here are nice, and the place where I live is good too. But, the food they serve could be better.

"Lackluster Energy Levels in Assisted Living Facility Tour"
The tour was interesting. The place felt calm, but I expected that since it’s for people who need help and those with memory issues. My family member needed a livelier place.

"Great memory care and food, highly recommended!"
We picked Edgewood Point because our loved one needed memory care, and they have it here. It was recommended to us. I really liked [name] who helped us at the start. The food has been great. I would suggest this place to anyone needing memory care.

"Not as clean or efficient as other facilities"
Edgewood Point didn't seem as hands-on and efficient as another place we visited. The buildings didn't feel as clean and sanitized, which was really important to me during Covid times.

"Needs Improvement in Care and Service"
The staff could be more helpful, and the care services could be better. We might have expected more, but it doesn't seem like there's a lot of real care happening. The meals are just okay. The cost is similar to other places nearby, but the services feel a bit disappointing for the price.

"Assisted Living Facility Needs Staffing and Communication Improvements"
This place has reopened the dining room and activities, but there are issues. They need better staff because lots of people are leaving. They also don't talk well with residents or families, and the medical help isn't good enough.

"Caring staff, great room, and good price for our parents"
This place really cares for the residents. They've been taking great care of my parents like family since we can't visit during COVID. They're more than just caregivers. I’d recommend this community to others. We chose it because they had the right room for my parents, the price was better than other places we visited, and it has a bright and cheerful atmosphere. It took some effort from our family to get everything sorted, but the staff has worked with us and used our feedback to give my parents the best care.
