"Issues with Lost Personal Items, Poor Communication at Farmington Square"
My brother started living at Farmington Square in Beaverton starting this January. This was his first time in a facility like this, so we weren't sure what to expect. The staff seemed nice on the phone and even when we went there to visit. But we had some problems. We found a medicine pill on the floor of his room, it was really hard to get anyone on the phone at the facility, and when he left, a lot of his clothes were missing. In their place were smaller clothes or women's clothes. His toiletries got swapped out for some cheap stuff and his brand new beddings, pillows, shower organizer, coffee mug, all disappeared. It was a huge letdown.

"Mixed Experience at Farmington Square Assisted Living"
My family and I had different feelings about my mom's time at Farmington Square Beaverton Assisted Living. For 2.5 years, she stayed there, starting with 2 years in transitional memory care and ending with 0.5 years in full memory care. Let me break down our time there. Let's start with the good stuff: Care Staff: The people who took care of my mom were mostly good. They genuinely cared about her and wanted her to be okay. But there were a few who seemed more interested in their paycheck than my mom's well-being. Still, there were some standout staff members who really went the extra mile. They made me feel confident that my mom was in good hands. Food: One thing that stood out was the food. My mom always liked what she ate there. The meals were tasty, varied, and the portions were just right. She was happy with it.

"A Caring Home with Friendly Staff"
I work as a nurse consultant for a pharmacy and visit many places like Farmington Square in Beaverton. They really try their best to give good care. The people who work there are nice, especially the ED. He knows a lot and stays very involved. Everyone at the place is welcoming. I think others would like it here too.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Expectations"
The place cost a lot but didn't meet our expectations. They didn't fix things we asked for, like the walker, and the room was gloomy. The staff was nice, though. Due to COVID, there weren't many activities.

Do some research on other places and compare your wish list, but also consider Farmington Square. I didn't deal with the finances, so my three-star rating is a guess. I would keep this community as an option. I had good experiences with the caregivers.
