"A Disappointing Assisted Living Experience"
The place needs to pay more attention to what's happening. Also, they should install cameras. The staff is friendly, but there aren't enough of them, and the food tastes bad. We chose this place mainly because it's cheap and close by.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Care and Amenities"
My mom's at Farmington Square in Gresham since June. I've got some issues. First, there's this big, noisy thing on the wall that's supposed to make the room comfy, but it's more annoying than helpful. Mom's got dementia, so she doesn't understand she needs to keep it on for her room to be cool. Plus, there's no central air in her bedroom! Isn't that basic? Then, there's the bathing situation. Mom thinks she can handle it herself, but she really can't. She never wants to shower, which is dangerous for her. The staff won't push her, which I get, so I have to make sure she gets a shower at least once a week. But there's only one bathtub in the whole building, and it's stuffed with clothes. And there's no way to wash her hair properly. When I tried in the shower, it was a disaster. She got upset and traumatized. And the worst part? They don't fix anything! This is just the start of my frustrations.

"Reliable Care with Communication Challenges"
I needed to find a place for my mom about 5 years ago. Farmington was a good fit right away and has been great as her memory care needs grew. The staff pays close attention to her, keeps her clean and healthy, and tries hard to keep her engaged. Farmington has done an amazing job even during tough times. My only complaint is about how they communicate: 1) Whenever they call me, it's from a different number that isn't listed as Farmington. This makes me have to pick up every local call, which can be annoying. 2) Sometimes when shifts change, the new person doesn't know what was already discussed with the previous person. This leads to extra work for everyone. Overall, I would recommend Farmington Gresham to others in the same situation. I feel they treat my mom like a person, not just a client.

"Caring Environment and Helpful Staff at Farmington Square Gresham"
My experience with Farmington Square Gresham has been positive so far. I had to move my uncle into this nursing home quickly due to housing issues, and they helped us promptly. In his first week, he had medication issues and had to go to the ER, then to the hospital. The management brought his things to the hospital when I needed them. Whenever I visit, the office staff are always cheerful. When I call, they communicate thoughtfully and give me helpful information. I'm grateful to the staff who assisted me with my Amazon orders and recycling boxes. I've met some wonderful caregivers who treat my uncle with kindness. His room is clean, and the common areas are always tidy and cozy. Knowing he's safe and comfortable makes me feel at ease.

"Understaffing and Lack of Care at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom was at this elderly home for just under two months but it wasn't a good fit. The employees were nice and seemed to care a lot, but they had too much on their plate to give the level of care we were expecting. One problem was with showers which are supposed to happen twice a week. If they get too busy, they just move it to the next planned time. We paid for special supplies for my mom's incontinence problem, but didn't receive them until we asked for a refund. My mom doesn't like to ask for help and they didn't check enough to see if her adult diapers were clean.
