"Clean, convenient, and well-priced with nearby memory care facility"
The place is clean and organized well for what it does. We picked this community because it's nearby, the cost is reasonable, they had an opening right away, and they have a memory care facility next door, which we think my mom might need in the future.

"Mixed Care Services, Well-Designed Assisted Living"
The care services can be hit or miss, and the memory care activities are quite limited. They should check on residents' medications more often, especially considering the price we pay. It would be great if they provided dental cream, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and clean towels. We want worry-free visits. On the positive side, the assisted living area is well done, with a library, rec room, and pool table. Plus, they offer outdoor activities and BBQ-ing.

"Mixed Feelings About Powell Valley Assisted Living"
We had to take a virtual tour of Powell Valley, which was tough because I wanted to see the facility in person before deciding. Everything was fine, but it simply wasn't the right match for us.

"Awful Food, Bad Management and No Communication at Retirement Home"
Stay away from this retirement home. We faced problems all the time. The meals tasted really bad, the staff didn't talk to us or each other. They struggled with managing medications, often not giving them. I wouldn't suggest this home to anyone.

"Great Place with Caring Staff and Close to Home"
This place looks really nice. The staff seem to care about the people living here and there are enough of them to help out. I picked this place because I visited a few others and liked this one the most. Plus, it’s close to home. I would tell other families to check it out.

"Friendly staff, clean facility, but too expensive for budget"
Powell Valley Assisted Living & Memory Care was a really nice and clean place that we visited. The staff was very friendly and knew a lot, and they answered all of our questions. We decided on a different community because this one was too expensive for our budget.
