"Personalized Care and Genuine Attention at Prestige Orchard Heights"

Prestige Orchard Heights is a smaller place, so the staff is small and knows each resident personally. This means they can build close relationships, which is really important when you’re leaving your parents in their care. We feel confident that our loved one is well looked after by people who genuinely care.

"Friendly and Comfortable Assisted Living Facility"

This place seems really nice. The people who work there are very friendly, and my Mom really enjoys being there.

"Communication lacking, delayed response on behavioral issues, more transparency needed."

"The way they talked to us was not good. It took them forever to tell us they couldn't take care of our family member because of how they acted. They should have told us sooner.

"Overall positive experience."

We visited many places, but this one felt like home. We were unsure at first due to bad reviews, but it's better than expected. The staff is friendly, residents are nice, and they allow pets. Food can be slow sometimes. Overall, Dad's happy here.

"Assisted Living Facility Fails to Deliver Promised Services"

This place is terrible. They charge for services that they don't even provide. We moved our loved one in and at first, things seemed okay, but major staff changes like with the upper management caused big problems. The food was awful and the senior staff lied to us. We were charged for services that were never given to us. They didn't have toilet paper in the bathroom, the shower curtain was broken and it took them a whole month to fix it even though we told them about it. This place offers below average living. They lost rental equipment and we got stuck paying the bill. The food was low-quality, sometimes even canned when fresh food was in season, and the dining room was a mess. Food was left on the table and on the floor for hours after meals. They said they monitored the room, that if the door opened, they would know. We tried opening and closing the door for an hour several times, but nobody ever showed up.

"Grave Concerns Over Elder Care Facility's Lack of Compassion"

Initially, we thought this elder care facility was alright. It had bright, spacious dining areas and living quarters. However, it didn't take long for things to go south. Our parent was billed for unprovided services and the atmosphere became increasingly negative. Basic upkeep tasks, such as cleaning, started to degrade. Administrators were dishonest and failed to demonstrate respect for our parents welfare. They misplaced her wheelchair, waited over a month to repair her faulty shower rod holder, and that's just scratching the surface. The stress they imposed on our elderly parent can't be erased. It's truly heartbreaking to see the people responsible for caring for our aging population just not bothered. This critique primarily targets the management, not the direct care providers. Don't let them exploit your desperation. Your loved one deserves quality care, and quite frankly, this place is the pits. I apologize if it's harsh, but truth hurts.

"Avoid Orchard Heights: Poor Management, Food and Cleanliness"

If you love your family, avoid this place completely!! Our mom was stuck there for 3 years because we lived nearby and had no car. Good managers and caretakers would come and leave but the poor ones remained. We often visited mom to find her in dirty clothes and bedding even the floor was soiled! They had major theft issues too, one person was even jailed. The food had no fresh fruits or veggies, only canned stuff. We had to bring extra food since the meals at Orchard Heights Prestige Living were so bad! This text box isn't big enough for all the negative experiences we had there. Thankfully, mom is now at a NEW place that treats her with the care, attention, and respect that all elderly people deserve. Plus, their food is great!

"Senior Care Facility Fails to Notify Family, Leaves Elderly Displaced"

My mom stayed at Prestige Orchard Heights for 2 1/2 months. She got sick and needed more help, so she had to go to the hospital and then to another place for care. They said she could come back, but on the day she was supposed to, they said they didn't have space for her. This was a big surprise and made me really worried because I didn't know what to do. The director never called me or said anything about this happening. Luckily, the people at the other place helped us find somewhere else for her to go. I think the people who run Orchard Heights are not good at their jobs and don't care about the people who live there. How else can you explain turning away a 90-year-old lady without telling anyone? My mom will be okay, but it's not thanks to Orchard Heights. I think they only care about money and not about the people who live there. Don't go to this place if you want good care for your loved ones.

"Assisted Living with Community Feel, Minor Food Consistency Issue"

Living at Orchard Heights isn't like being at home, but it's actually better in some ways. You don't have to cook, clean, or do laundry if you don't feel like it. The kitchen serves three meals daily, each with a special option or alternatives if you prefer. Your apartment gets cleaned once a week, and if you don't want to wash your clothes, the staff can do it for you. You don't need to worry about remembering your medications; they are brought to you as prescribed by the doctor. There are lots of activities to join in, like clubs for pinochle, poker, and crafting. Plus, we go on various trips every month—things like casino visits, lunches out, dinners out, scenic drives, and even nights at the theater. If there's something specific you'd like to do, just let the staff know, and they'll try to make it happen. The people who run Orchard Heights and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. They keep their promises, which makes it feel like a real community here, almost like being with family. One thing that could be better is the food; sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not.
