"Great Place with Friendly Staff and Quick Assistance"
My loved one lives at Prestige Senior Living West Hills, and things have been great so far! Their apartment is really nice. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. They respond quickly when help is needed.

"West Hills: Neglected Elders, Poor Service, and High Expenses"
The new head and RN at West Hills assisted living facility, which started in 2023, are adding to the raging chaos here. My elderly parents, both in their 90s, live here and they feel totally unnoticed and neglected by the management. One person told me they felt they were being herded like an animal. Another, who can't walk, said you need to look after yourself to stay here. The dining situation is bad. Despite bragging about a restaurant-style experience, the food quality is poor, and the dining area is dirty. It's been months since they ran bus service for shopping or any sort of exercise classes. They really need more staff here. You sometimes have to wait up to 45 minutes after calling for help, and occasionally, the call goes unanswered. They're charging these senior citizens sky-high prices for subpar care. Me and my brothers and sisters are having to provide extra care for our parents.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Staffing and Training"
The workers are nice and friendly. Like in many other assisted living places, there aren't enough trained staff here. This often means they can't provide all the services promised. Our family member had to teach new staff how to do basic things like making beds, helping in the shower, and dealing with dirty laundry. We think the staff should be better trained, but there are always new people coming and going here. Because of this, your loved one might not get all the help they need, but it's not the fault of the workers; it's because the Prestige corp doesn't have enough staff.

"Avoid This Under-staffed, Over-charged Assisted Living Facility!"
Dire Situations at Assisted Living Center: Please, Don't Make This Choice" If you're thinking of sending a loved one here, stop and think again. The service received is nothing compared to the costs. Extra charges that weren't initially mentioned appear too often. Those who move in barely get showers because they have about five staff members for every shift. It seems most of them quit not long after starting to work. These under-staffed facilities take on advanced cases that require constant attention, leaving others neglected. And don't get started on the food - it's not good at all. The same goes for their recreational activities; they are simply laughable. Whenever I visit, all I catch is staff horsing around instead of doing their jobs, unless they see someone watching. For the wellbeing of your loved ones, please consider other options!
