The staff truly care about the residents and are very attentive. They kept us updated and made sure everything went smoothly, even during COVID lockdowns. We were very pleased with their service. The only small issue was that there were sometimes not enough staff during the evenings.

We picked River Run Place because I really liked the friendly staff and the nice atmosphere. We did a virtual tour and then walked through before my dad moved in. The staff here feels like a close-knit family. My dad’s L-shaped studio is nicer than a regular one. It’s a great family atmosphere, and I’d recommend it.

"Good Facility, But Only Studio Apartments Available"
This place is pretty nice. The person we talked to was really great, and they took their time answering all our questions. But, they only had smaller apartments open when we visited. My Mom and Dad need a bigger, one-bedroom place. We're still looking around, but we'll remember this place if anything changes.

"Small community and staff is nice"
I really like this place. It’s a smaller community, so there aren’t many social activities. But my sister-in-law is happy here. The staff and administrators are friendly and approachable. The care she gets is great, and the food is good. They work with you to solve any problems. I’d recommend this place to other families.

"Great care, friendly staff, and enjoyable environment."
My husband gets good care here. The workers are nice and helpful. He eats through a straw, and they help him with that. He doesn’t dislike the food. The place is clean too. No mess anywhere. It doesn’t smell bad like other places. They also have activities. My husband joined an exercise class once. I’d tell others about it. It’s not too big, so it’s not too much. My husband likes it there. He talks to other people during lunch. They’re friendly too.

"River Run Place: A Great Choice for Mom and Family"
My mother-in-law moved to River Run Place recently. It's been awesome. She feels independent here, though she needs some help now. The staff is super nice, which is why she chose this place. When we visited, the Admissions director made her feel really comfortable. The staff talks to everyone, cheers everyone up, and makes everyone feel like pals. They don’t organize many activities, but my mom likes it that way. She’s joined in things she wouldn’t usually do because she can talk to people her age. They have a free library and the food is always good and healthy. I'd totally recommend River Run Place to others. It's made my mom happy and our family relieved.

"Great Assisted Living Facility for Our Dad!"
My sister and I felt really relieved during our tour. We needed a place quickly for our 97-year-old dad, and this seems like a good fit. The only downside is that the studio rooms are a bit small, but they’ll do. [Removed] was fantastic. We’re so grateful we found it.

After checking out several places and not finding one that felt right for my mom, I visited River Run Place. As soon as I met [Removed], I knew it was a good fit. My brother and I toured the next day, and he agreed with me. The staff was super friendly and caring. I’m so glad I toured this facility, and they had an apartment available just in time.

"Consider Carefully: Poor Care and Unpleasant Atmosphere"
Subpar care, employees are extremely stressed. The building smells strongly of odors from human waste. The salespeople are very aggressive and try to lure you with big discounts, but it's really not worth it. I wouldn't dare let my mom live there.

"So impressed with River Run Place's care and atmosphere!"
The management team here is amazing. They are so kind and helpful! I was nervous about finding a place for my mom, but this team made me feel they truly cared about our family. The marketing person said she wants to make sure River Run Place is the best fit for Mom. They helped us figure out Mom's needs, and we decided to move her to River Run the same day. The building is clean, and the linens on the tables add a lovely touch. I love that the building is smaller than most places. Mom gets consistent care and knows everyone who works there. It's wonderful knowing she loves where she lives. I could go on and on. This place is a gem, and I hope more people find this wonderful place for their loved ones.

"Fall led to two-day stay and no refund at Sawyer House"
She only stayed two days at this place because she had a fall. They refused to give back our money. That's only two nights at Sawyer House. I admit, it's a clean place and might be good for some, but I think they were really pushy with me. It's probably okay if you're looking for a temporary stay or for full-time residence if you're more self-sufficient.
