"Care Falls Short Due to Staffing Issues"
The food was really good, and my Dad liked it. But there weren't enough staff, and they kept hiring temporary workers. When I visited, it was always different people, and the rooms weren't clean. I ended up doing most of the upkeep myself. Overall, the care wasn't what we expected due to the staffing issues.

"Nice place, but not the right fit for my loved one"
The tour at Somerset was pretty good overall. My loved one didn't like the apartments because they were too small and not in the part of the facility he preferred. The food was really good, and everyone on the staff was friendly. It just wasn't the right place for him.

"Caring Staff and New Friends Make a Difference"
At first, she didn't want to be there, and it was tough. But after a while, she made some friends and now seems to enjoy her time. Overall, everyone is very caring and kind.

"Assisted Living: Mixed Experience with Meals"
My friend recently moved her Mom there. She seems to like it, but the food isn't great, and meals are often late. Considering the challenging times, it's still a nice place. However, they should improve meal delivery, especially for my diabetic Mom.

"Comfortable community with smaller rooms than another we visited."
We liked the community a lot. The rooms were smaller than the other place we saw.

"Somerset tour: Helpful staff, busy care, religious influence on food."
It was a nice tour at Somerset. The staff were helpful, and key people were available. The dining room was pleasant. I noticed busy care staff handling emergencies. Unsure if it's always like that. Other places had similar situations. Somerset has a religious connection, affecting some administrative choices—no pork products served.

"Poor Management and Medication Handling at Assisted Living Facility"
The people running this place, like many other care homes, don't seem to care about the people living here, especially those who can voice their concerns. They're really bad at managing medicines, and they don't listen or communicate well with patients at all. I know two people who live here. One left after only three months. The other only stayed because it was a convenient location. I'm going to warn everyone I know not to put someone they care about in this place.

"Great place with happy residents and good communication"
I would think about choosing this place. My loved one is happy here, and we’re pleased with it too. The staff talks well with us and always calls us back quickly. I would tell others to consider this place. The grounds are lovely, the community feels friendly, and the holiday decorations are nice.

"Understaffed Care at Somerset Lodge"
We picked Somerset Lodge because they had available space when my mom needed to move. I visited, and it seemed nice and convenient for me. The room sizes were okay; they offer three different options. However, even though they accepted my mom for level 5 care, they didn’t have enough staff to take care of her. When she needed assistance, it took forever for someone to respond to her button. Eventually, we had to move her out
