"Caring staff and friendly environment at Sweetbriar Villa"
The staff at Sweetbriar Villa are really kind and caring. The place is just the right size with 30-40 residents, so everyone gets to know each other. It’s in a quiet, nice neighborhood. The cost is about the same as other places in Eugene/Springfield.

"Sweetbriar Villa: A True Home for Our Mom"
My mom has been at Sweetbriar Villa for 8 months. All the staff are super nice and helpful to her. They really know how to take care of each person and meet their needs. Dementia is tough, but they handle it so well. I can call or email anytime with any concern and get the help I need. The administrative staff is amazing too. Sweetbriar has truly become our mom's "home." Food is really important at this stage of life. The kitchen staff go out of their way to meet requests and make tasty, interesting meals.

"Privacy Concerns Despite Warm Atmosphere at Sweetbriar Assisted Living"
Sweetbriar was really nice when we visited. They were friendly and told us everything we needed to know. But we decided not to choose Sweetbriar because even in the assisted living part, people have to share showers. Privacy is super important for our loved one, so that wouldn't work for her. Besides that, the place is small, cozy, and feels like a community.

"Friendly Assisted Living with Privacy Concerns"
Sweetbriar was friendly and informative, but sharing a shower in assisted living isn't ideal for our privacy-conscious loved one. The small, warm facility has a community vibe.

"Not as Spacious and Lively As Expected"
I visited Sweetbriar Villa. The place was neat and tidy, but it was just too tight. I felt like a wheelchair wouldn't be able to move easily through the halls and doors. It just didn't have that open and bright feel I was looking for.

"Sweetbriar Villa Tour: Nice but Small, Didn't Fit Our Needs"
I visited Sweetbriar while searching for a place for my mom. Back then, we sought assisted living, and Sweetbriar seemed quite pleasant. However, it seemed a tad smaller than other spots we checked. Shortly after our visit, we realized my mom required memory care. Though Sweetbriar was charming, we opted for a different place better suited to our needs.

"Charming Facility with Caring Staff, Okay Food, and Provided Transportation"
The rooms are somewhat tiny and a bit gloomy, but the rest of the place is really nice. They have pretty gardens. You can tell the workers there truly care. Food options are okay but not super interesting. They offer rides every week to see the scenery. Even rides to go see the doctor are taken care of.

"Memory Care Area Needs Improvement"
The place was okay, but I wasn't wowed by the memory care area. It's really tiny, and there's no outdoor space for memory care folks to hang out. Also, the available spots aren't enclosed for safety. Plus, they didn't tell us the memory care was full when we talked about our needs before joining.

"Happy with the care!"
This community has great staff who keep everything clean and cheerful. They are caring and helpful, even cleaning my mother-in-law's room when needed. The food is good, and there are activities like Bible class and exercise. My mother-in-law is doing well, and our experience has been wonderful. I recommend this community!

"Review of Sweetbriar Villa, Springfield, OR"
Sweetbriar Villa is excellent. The staff is very caring and attentive. The environment is cozy, with a nice enclosed courtyard that we really appreciated. There’s a piano in the small lobby, and one of the residents played it daily, with others gathering around to sing along. With about 25 residents, it was the perfect size for my mother-in-law—not too big or too small. It’s also near a lovely park within easy walking distance. We visited her regularly for almost two years, and everything was always in order. The staff called us if they had concerns, and we took part in monthly care meetings. A kind volunteer, who had retired from caregiving, spent a lot of time with my mother-in-law when she became less mobile and confused. Our family always felt sure that she was in good hands.

"Best place I've lived since multiple surgeries."
Sweetbriar is the 4th place I’ve lived due to multiple surgeries. It’s by far the most pleasant and caring of all. My wife and daughter found Sweetbriar and signed me up for the next available spot. I agreed without seeing it first, and it turned out to be the best outcome from the surgeries. Sweetbriar feels the closest to home I’ve ever experienced. I have a private room that’s both comfy and spacious. The caregivers are the most caring I’ve had anywhere. I don’t think I could find a better place to live.
