"Consistent, Caring Staff Makes The Springs a Solid Choice"
My loved one lived at The Springs before we moved them. We were looking for a better place because the memory care unit wasn’t as nice as I hoped. However, the staff was always the same, well-trained, and really caring. They didn’t have the high turnover rate that many other places do. After moving, I’ve realized that having a steady and skilled staff is the most important thing.

"Caring Staff and Clean Environment, Few Hiccups Along the Way"
Looking for a place for my mom, this location seemed best. It's super close, just about 3 ½ miles away, so really convenient. The whole staff was super nice and friendly. Even the younger helpers and caregivers were great. When I got there, they introduced themselves and explained what they do for the residents. They said they were excited to meet my mom, which was really nice. First thing we noticed was how clean it was. Compared to other places, it didn’t smell like an old nursing home. Had a few small issues though. One day, I found my mom’s closet kinda empty, and some clothes needed washing. Took them downstairs and saw a big pile of clothes in the laundry room. Couldn’t tell if they were clean or dirty. Asked a staff member, and they said sometimes they don’t have time to wash everything properly. I told them that wasn’t okay. Spoke to Tammy about it, and she apologized and promised it wouldn’t happen again. Another problem was with my mom’s wheelchair. We’re paying for it, but it always seems to be taken for someone else. Made a special blanket with her name on it, but even that didn’t help. The footrest on the wheelchair also kept disappearing. When my mom needed it, I had to search everywhere for it. But despite these issues, it’s a great place for memory care. The staff really cares about the patients and their families. They try to help you understand what’s going on and keep you updated. Overall, it’s a nice, clean place with caring people.

"Friendly tour, clean facility, found better fit elsewhere"
The Springs at Clackamas Woods was one of the places we visited. Our tour guide was friendly and gave us a lot of information. The place was very clean and well-kept. However, we found another place that fits my loved one's needs a little better.

"Mixed Feelings About The Springs"
The Springs was a really nice place, very modern. The restaurant felt good, not like a cafeteria. The only downside was the location—it wasn't near any shops or restaurants. Overall, it was nice, but not what we wanted.

"Great care, friendly staff, and good meals for mom."
I really like this nice place for taking care of my mom. The staff are kind and caring. The food is really good, and she’s happy with the meals. They also have fun activities for people who can join in. She had friends who moved into the community, so it was easier for her to get used to it. We think this place is a great choice for other families who need good care and value.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living"
Our time here has been okay, but it's been an adjustment for me. You're not ready for changing clothes and seeing people walking around. The activities and meals have been good, and my wife is eating better. We need time to get used to our new lifestyle in this community; it's a whole new experience for us.

"Great staff, good food, nice atmosphere, slight porch delay."
They've been really great so far. I like everyone's attitude. Unlike other places where staff are patronizing, here they are respectful. The food is good, and the menu is nice, almost like a restaurant. They even have a pub and offer fun activities. I enjoy visiting; it has a pleasant atmosphere. The only issue was a delay in putting a screen on her porch, which took a couple of weeks.

"Clean and responsive, with good activities and occasional mix-ups"
The facility is very clean, and they quickly handle any issues or questions we have. Even though it's a smaller place, the quality is good. Sometimes, things get mixed up, like laundry being delivered to the wrong room or a dead hearing aid battery not being noticed right away because my mom doesn't mention it. The activities are great. This past week, they had game shows after a break, morning snacks, trivia games, a walking club, and music exercises. They also take residents on scenic bus tours and have evening TV shows like Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune.
