"Memory Care Unit Fails to Offer Sufficient Care and Compassion"
Putting my relative in this dementia care section was the worst decision I've ever made. They don't provide nearly enough attention. They just place elders in front of a TV for the whole day. My family member passed away there. They did receive hospice care, but that was it; no extra help came from the staff. They only spoke to us once: to push us to clean out her belongings just two days after she was gone. Many of the items weren't even hers. Not a single person from the staff offered sympathy when she passed. I strongly suggest you don't place your family members in their dementia care section.

"Ownership Change Raises Questions About Quality"
The food could be better, and since it's under new ownership, we're not sure what to expect.

"Great place for loved ones with good staff communication."
I think this place is good for other people's loved ones. The staff communicated really well when we had questions or concerns about our friend. My friend didn't like some of the food and complained about it, but didn't say much more than that.

"Honest, helpful, and great communication at Allegria!"
Allegria at The Oaks was a great choice for us because they were honest and upfront about the care and costs. They really helped us move Mom from her previous facility to Allegria. Communication has been excellent, even though we can't visit. When I need an update, I just email or call, and they respond quickly. They also offer shared rooms, which saves a lot of money. The rooms are nice and have privacy dividers. Most residents spend their days in the common areas instead of staying in their rooms.
