"Recommended assisted living with minor housekeeping improvements needed."
Arbor Terrace Willistown came highly recommended by healthcare professionals and neighbors. The staff quickly learned my loved one's names and assisted us during move-in. Meals are great, with special ice cream sundaes. Housekeeping needs improvement, with occasional trash removal needed. Overall, I'd recommend Arbor Terrace Willistown to others.

"Kindness, Cleanliness, and Good Food at Arbor Terrace"
We really liked Arbor Terrace Willistown. They were very nice to my dad, and the place was always clean. The food they made for the residents was good too. We’d tell others to check it out.

"Poor Care and Cleanliness at Assisted Living Facility"
The place looks nice, with fresh flowers in the lobby. But sadly, the care and cleanliness are really bad. I had to move my dad out, and I'm so glad I did. He seems much happier now and gets better care. Please think carefully before you send your loved ones to the memory care unit.

"Untrained Staff & Mistakes Galore at Memory Care Facility"
My dad stayed in the part that specializes in memory care. They’ll say whatever they need to just to get you to sign up your loved one. If your family member really has dementia or Alzheimer's, it turns out their staff isn't trained to take care of them. There've been so many mistakes and oversights that it's just too much. Please, look at other places and don't be tricked by the friendly introduction they give you, it changes fast.

"Mixed feelings about assisted living; cleanliness praised, care criticized."
Before COVID, we thought this place was nice. But five months after our loved one moved in, the staff didn't take good care of her. She got pushed by another resident and got hurt, which led to her passing away. The place was clean, bright, and cheerful. The food seemed okay. What really caught our attention was how clean it was, the staff, and how easy it was to get around.

"A Great Place for My Mom"
My family member stayed here when it was called Atria. The staff was really friendly and helpful. She loved watching movies. The place was very clean. If there was a problem, I told the staff and they fixed it right away. Once, there was a bad smell in her room and we found out it was because she had a UTI. She also went on fun trips to restaurants and the fire station. She enjoyed her time there. Thanks a lot to the staff!

"Friendly staff, great care, and beautiful, clean facility."
Dad has lived here for about four months. The staff helped him settle in and made him feel comfortable. Before moving in, we brought him for meals and activities. Everyone is very friendly and caring. It seems like everyone at Arbor Terrace loves their job. The facility is the perfect size—not too big and not too small. It's impressive that everyone, no matter their job title, knows Dad's name and greets him warmly. The nursing staff is excellent, and the RNs manage Dad's medical needs and records well. Having Fox Rehab on site is very convenient. Arbor Terrace has a bus that takes residents on scenic rides and local tours. This place is like a little "chunk of heaven" for your loved one. The grounds are beautiful, the halls are cheerful, and everything is very clean.

"Disappointing Atria Willistown: Understaffed and Unhygienic"
Atria Willistown totally bombed! They're always understaffed, utterly boring, and there's constant pee odor. The employees there didn't even seem bothered about the residents. It's a chain of indifference that traces right up to the head honchos. I had to bear with my mom being there for less than a year. Shifting her out was the greatest thing I did. Looking back, I feel really sorry for the residents that are still stuck there.

"Atria Willistown: Understaffed, Stinky, Indifferent to Residents"
Atria Willistown was simply terrible! They lacked enough staff, there were hardly any activities, and a relentless pee odor was always present. It seemed like the professionals just weren't bothered about the seniors in their care. The blame starts from the leadership. Even the top brass appeared indifferent. My mom was there for not even a year. Getting her out was probably the smartest thing I did. It's heartbreaking to think of the elderly who remain there.

"Hidden Problems at Atria"
My mom and dad started at Atria in Assisted Living, then moved to Memory Care. But once they were there, we faced lots of problems. They both got skin infections (scabies) because things weren’t clean. Laundry wasn’t done often (even though we paid $80 a month), and sometimes my parents wore other people’s clothes. Clothes would vanish, and their sheets and towels weren’t always theirs, even though they had names on them. We had to keep bothering the managers for medical help. It might look nice at first, but there are issues if you look closer.

"Great Care and Comfort at Our Assisted Living Facility!"
I've lived here for about 5 months now. The place is well maintained. The staff is the best part. They're kind and caring. The management listens to complaints and acts quickly to fix things. You can have three hot meals a day if you want, and the food is fresh and tasty. They try their best to accommodate special requests. You'll feel safe and secure here. They keep an eye on residents who need extra care. Overall, this place is a great choice for assisted living, giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones are well cared for.

"Feels Like Home At Atria"
Just over 4 years ago, I was one of the first people to move into the new Atria residence in Willistown, PA. We often talk about how our shared experiences helped shape the great staff and activities we have now. The motto here is 'Prove Your Worth Each Day.' The meals are tasty! I love seeing the aides give special attention (and sometimes a hug) to residents. We have amazing speakers and entertainers. It's like the world is coming to us now!

"Amazing staff and therapy at Atria Willistown"
I’ve been at Atria Willistown since February 2018. After breaking my neck in September 2017, I couldn’t walk and had limited use of my right arm. After time in two other rehabs, I reluctantly came here. The staff are the most wonderful people, and I love them all. By May 2018, I regained full mobility in my right arm and can walk again! I use a walker while building strength but never thought I’d get this far. The therapy and staff here are amazing, and so are the residents. I’ll miss everyone when I go home soon.

"Mixed Feelings About Assisted Living Tour Experience"
I visited this place, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions, which was great. During the tour, I didn't see much activity going on. It felt more like a hotel. I don't think it would be the right place for my Aunt because it's pricier. But they called me afterward to check in, which I appreciated. I think families should tour different places before deciding.

"Beware of High Turnover, Short Staff and Broken Promises at Atria"
The place looks nice and you think your parent will be well looked after, especially considering the cost... But after only four months, we transferred mom. There's only one nurse for the whole building from Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. We found the med techs asleep on the job. We asked for a resident plan after 90 days and it wasn't given to us despite numerous requests. The locked down unit doesn't have enough staff, meeting only the state minimums.. The staff turnover rate is VERY high, you need stability and Atria doesn't provide that, which directly affects your relative. I've checked out every facility in the town and this is one to steer clear of until they hire more QUALIFIED staff and keep their existing staff because their turnover rate is twice the industry average.

"Friendly Staff, Cramped Spaces, and Limited Room for Large Furniture"
The staff and place are nice, but the location, which is near a busy highway, feels a bit tight. This made the indoor spaces also feel small. My parents have a big bed they don't want to get rid of, but it wouldn't fit in either the one or two bedroom apartments. Besides that, the other features are okay.

"Great Care and Cozy Environment for My Parents"
My parents have been getting great care here. The staff is really nice and doing a fantastic job for them. Sometimes it can be a bit tough, but they’re getting used to it. I like the layout of the place; it’s open and cozy with lots of light. My parents like the meals about 70% of the time sometimes they have really good days. My mom also enjoyed getting her hair done at the salon on-site.

"Sky-High Prices and Terrible Food: Seek Better Options"
This place costs an arm and a leg, and they jack up the rent every year. The food here went downhill - they got rid of the solid cooks we had and now we're stuck with lousy Sysco junk. Tastes like something you'd get at a hospital. Plus, there's always a new nurse making it tough to keep up.

"Atria is truly my mom's home!"
My mom has been at Atria for two years now. Bringing her to this wonderful place was the best choice we could have made. From the start, the staff has been super nice and very attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean, and the food is really good. We brought my mom here against her will because she didn’t want to leave home, not realizing that dementia was taking away her ability to live alone. Within a few days, she saw the benefits of living in such a loving community. She LOVES the staff, and they love her back! She has made friends and is no longer isolated like she was at home. Mom is enjoying life again! She goes out to lunch and participates in almost every outing Atria offers. She attends many events and parties that Atria organizes and watches movies every night. Recently, she started working out every day! When mom has a tough time, the staff is always there to help. They keep me updated on everything happening with her. Sometimes, she says she wants to be in her own house. But after we take her out for a meal or visit elsewhere, she feels anxious and wants to go back to Atria, where all her friends are. She can’t wait to get back because Atria feels like home.

"Avoid This Filthy, Negligent Assisted Living Facility!"
This place is awful and needs to be closed pronto. The stench hits you as soon as you approach, and it's incredibly dirty. There are hardly any staff to look after the residents and the ones that are present are terrible at their jobs. My family member was ignored several times and the head person offered zero help. Their solution was to suggest that my relative should probably go somewhere else instead, with no thoughts of fixing their shortcomings. I'd strongly advise against anyone choosing this location for their loved ones.

"Looks Fancy, But Service Falls Short"
Solana might remind you of a fancy hotel, but don’t be fooled! I used to work as a nurse, so I know a thing or two about assisted living. It seems like they don’t have enough staff, especially on weekends. Take the fire drill, for example. Nobody told our mom what was happening or made sure she was safe. It’s like they forgot she was even there, but they should’ve remembered. Every person living there needs to be looked after, especially then. The food? That’s another story. The young dining room staff doesn’t really get what being professional means. They need better training in how to treat people right and be helpful. The management at Solana needs to fix this fast. Eating well and enjoying meals is super important for the folks living there. And the meals themselves? Too much sauce or gravy, not enough healthy stuff. The veggies are so soft they’re mushy, and salads? Hardly any good ones for a salad fan like our mom. Plus, too much fried food isn’t what the residents want. We’re going to keep an eye on the dining service and the food they serve. This place isn’t cheap, and we expect a lot more for our money.

"Watch out, good looks but disappointing on delivery of promises."
Our relative has lived here for a while and we've observed a high number of staff coming and going, which is alarming. They seem to always be under staffed and their promise of getting back to us within 10 minutes is not being followed, though they claim it is. They offer grand promises but can't fulfill them and are not helpful. Don't be tricked by the nice appearances.

"Nice facility, friendly staff, not perfect for loved one."
We checked out this place while figuring out care for a family member. The Solana Willistown seemed pretty good, but not exactly what we needed. The building was clean and neat, and the people working there were nice and knew what they were doing. If you're thinking about care in the area, it's worth taking a look!

"Top-notch care and environment at Solana!"
Solana has been a great choice for my mom and the whole family. The place is beautiful, and the staff are amazing. They made what could’ve been a tough time for all of us really smooth. Mom settled in quickly and loves spending time with the other residents and the friendly staff. She can’t stop talking about how good the food is! We feel so much better knowing she’s in a safe place, staying active, and keeping her body and mind healthy. I highly recommend Solana for anyone looking into assisted living or memory care. "Mom loved it and signed up right away!"
My family and I liked everything about the place, but my Mom liked it the most. She decided to sign up the same day she visited the facility. Everything and everyone there was very impressive. The best part was that my Mom didn’t even think she was ready to move until she visited The Solana. We knew she needed to make the move. She will be moving in a couple of weeks.

"Solana Assisted Living Shows Promise with Room for Improvement"
The Solana is doing okay. It's clean, and there have been some changes in management, so we hope things will get better. We're not really into the physical therapy or the food. They offer a lot of fried stuff and not many healthy options. They usually have one special meal and the same old stuff. When they serve chicken, it's always breast, never legs or thighs. They just hired a new chef this year, so maybe the menu will improve. It's also a bit more crowded now; maybe they need more caregivers.

"Beautiful Setting but Costly Pharmacy and Security Concerns"
Our only worries were about the pharmacy; a medicine that used to cost us $60 now sets us back $800. The place is tidy and pleasant, with an incredible view. I really enjoy it. Sometimes it's tough to find staff on weekends. The food is delicious, and the activities are fantastic. However, they don't fold clothes; they just toss them on the bed. The staff keeps us updated with calls and pictures. In the memory care area, they don't lock the doors, allowing residents to wander into others' rooms. Overall, we appreciate the place despite its flaws; it's quite beautiful.
