"Quality Care and Beautiful Setting"
My mom has been living at the Residence for a year. She enjoys the social activities they have every day. The place has lovely views of the bay and it looks really nice. The food made by their chef is really good. The staff really cares about their work and treats everyone like they're at home. I'm happy I picked this place for my mom. I can't say enough about the caregivers. They work really hard. The nurse there is great at keeping me updated when I can't visit.

"Memory Care Needs Improvement"
Speaking from our experience in memory care, the community is nice. However, cleanliness and activities could be better. We're not always there to see everything, but the assisted living side looks clean and has plenty of activities. The memory care side seems somewhat opposite.

"Mixed Feelings About The Residence at Presque Isle Bay"
We picked The Residence at Presque Isle Bay because it’s by the bay with a great view, the room was nice, and everyone was friendly during our visit. The food is really good, too chef-prepared meals. However, there are some downsides. They don’t have a van to take residents to events, so if you don’t have family nearby, you might feel stuck. Management just changed, and it’s pretty expensive. Most rooms are small studios. Most of the staff have been great, but a few could be more supportive. Overall, I’d recommend this place with caution. Just be sure to consider the cost.

"Loves it here, great caregivers, and enjoys the courtyard."
She loves it at Bickford and is very happy, especially after being at another place she hated. The people and caregivers are great. We also have hospice helping her right now. The meals are nice and hot, and she enjoys being able to go out in the courtyard.

" Safe, Responsive, and Communicative Assisted Living"
We picked Bickford because they hadn't had COVID for a while, unlike other places dealing with outbreaks. We wanted to keep her safe, so we chose this place. They are careful about protecting everyone here. They always answer when I call, and they're good at keeping in touch. I haven't visited in person yet, but our experience has been positive so far.

"Friendly Staff, High Cost"
Everything's awesome, but it's pretty pricey. I'm glad my family member is joyful living here. The folks are super nice to both of us and always ready to lend a hand.
