"Friendly Staff, Limited Activities, Separate Memory Care"
The staff we met were super friendly, but the activities during our loved one's stay were a bit limited. Having a separate memory care unit was nice—it felt like they could look out for them better.

"Personal rooms and great food make Cambridge a recommended choice"
When we first visited Cambridge, we liked that our loved one could have their own room and decorate it however they wanted. It made the place feel more personal and cozy. The community is known for having a great chef, so the food seemed excellent. We would recommend this place to family or friends.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
This place is the only option for my husband, who has Alzheimer's/Vascular Dementia, due to his aggression. The director is good, but not always around, and some nurses seem overworked and impatient. My husband often doesn't recognize me or his surroundings. I'm unsure of his shower schedule, and he's not changed often enough, leading to incontinence issues. Some personal items have gone missing, including an afghan I made for him. Laundry isn't done regularly enough, and there's a shortage of staff to assist residents. The facility, an old motel, isn't as luxurious as advertised. The elevator is uncomfortably cold. I had to move nearby to visit regularly. I mark his meal preferences due to his diverticulosis. The kitchen staff is accommodating. Each room has its own climate control. Weekends lack cleaning staff, leading to odor issues. Some nurses dispose of soiled items improperly. Lack of communication about residents' conditions is distressing. I bring my husband extra snacks and drinks. His mood varies day by day. For more information or clarification, please contact me.

"The Director is Wonderful"
! She practically lives there too. LOL! She answers my questions truthfully, and she's kind, loving, and helpful with the residents. The individual rooms, once a motel, are nice with bathrooms. There's a master shower room for those needing assistance. Despite its age, it's comfortable and just 1/2 hour from my house in Kane. [Name removed] is doing well; we adjusted his meals like they did in the hospital. The staff is respectful, and they're taking good care of him. I appreciate their help during this transition.

"Comfy Assisted Living with Caring Staff and Homely Vibes"
The boss and super nice. She's practically always there, even jokes about it. I can text her and she's always honest. She's kind to all the old folks. The place used to be a motel, but the rooms are nice with bathrooms. There's a big shower room too since most folks need help. It's old but cozy, and only 30 minutes from my house in Kane. [name removed] is doing okay. He didn't like some foods, but I talked to Karen and the chef, and now they grind his meat like they did in the hospital. They respect him and me a lot. I bring him clothes and they help him change when he's wet. I've been there a lot last week and traveled to pack my stuff to move closer. Changing my address and setting up new services. Got a new phone number too. I'll be there this weekend, turning off my old phone. Thanks a lot for helping us out, it's been a Godsend.
