"Poor Maintenance, High Prices, and Lack of Diversity"
This place is seriously outdated and really dirty. They can't seem to keep their staff for long either. It's pretty disappointing to see how poorly maintained the place is, despite how much it costs to stay here. Also, if you are a person of color, I wouldn't even bother, this place lacks any diversity. And don't get me started on their nursing claim - they say they're available round the clock, but that's not been my experience. Too many staff members don't seem fully prepared or equipped for their jobs. Honestly, there are better places for your loved ones. Trust me, these reviews are on the dot.

"Chandler Hall: Clean, Caring, and Active"
We picked Chandler Hall for my mom because it’s super clean, and the care director is great at keeping us informed. The food variety is good, and they have plenty of activities.” .

"No Sympathy, Only Money-Minded After Dad's Passing"
Our dad lived here for over 10 years, paying privately. After he died, not a single person from here said they were sorry for our loss; all they cared about was getting their last payment. It was shameful!

"Community Feels Like a Nursing Home"
I visited this community for a break, and it seemed somewhat gloomy and not very lively. People weren't talking much or doing anything. It felt more like a nursing home.

"Disrespectful Staff and Deteriorating Quality Prompts Chandler Hall Departure"
Recently, Chandler Hall has switched owners and swapped out its upper-level management and part of its nursing team. The last time we had someone stay here, my mother, it was a pleasant experience. Now, it feels entirely different. My dad had to go there from the hospital when he hurt his hip. The plan was for him to stay there a week or two to get him strong enough to go home with a care aide. However, instead of getting better, things are getting worse after eight days. The Physical Therapists seem skilled, but they hardly talk to us, they don't return calls, and they're hard to reach. Still, the grave issue here is the nurses. My dad has been left alone in his wheelchair for hours. They weren't even taking him to meals until I brought it up. Asking for help to get him into bed or take a bathroom trip takes them between 30-60 minutes. A lot of the staff are impolite to patients and their families. Each day, we've encountered a nurse or a CNA being rude or unprofessional. There have been two times when my dad rang for help and, when I came to visit, a nurse or a CNA showed up half hour later questioning what we wanted in a rude way. When I said I didn't know, because it was my dad who called and he couldn't remember why, they kept being disrespectful. We're planning to move my dad elsewhere after the holiday weekend. Apparently, we're not the only family to make this choice due to the quality of care. Once my dad is out, we're not going back.

"Dreadful Experience Prompts Family To Leave Chandler Hall Forever"
Recently, Chandler Hall was bought out and a lot of their top management and nursing personnel were replaced. My mom was there in the past and we had a positive experience. But now, everything has changed. My dad was taken to Chandler Hall from a nearby hospital after a fall, where he didn't fracture anything but seriously damaged the soft tissue in his hip. We expected him to stay for 1-2 weeks to recover to a point where he could go back home with a 24-hour caregiver. Instead, his health has been declining after only eight days. The physical therapy team is good at what they do, but they hardly communicate, don't answer our calls, and are tough to get a hold of. The real problem though is with the nursing staff. They would leave my dad in a wheelchair for hours. They wouldn't bring him to meals until I spoke up about it. It took them half an hour to an hour just to respond to a request to help him get into his bed or go to the bathroom. A lot of the staff is rude to patients as well as their family members. Every day, at least one instance of a nurse or CNA acting in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner towards us occurred. For instance, twice when my dad needed nursing assistance and I came for a visit, a nurse or CNA arrived more than 30 minutes following my arrival, rudely asked what we needed, and was even rude when I said I didn't know because I wasn't the one who asked for help and my dad could no longer recall why he had asked for help. We're moving my dad after the holiday weekend. My understanding is that we're not the only family disappointed with the quality of care and deciding to move. I was considering using Chandler Hall for long term care for my parents in the future, but now I won't be considering it at all. We're never coming back once my dad is discharged.
