"Friendly Assisted Living with Transfer Challenges"
We stayed there for only 3 days. The nurse decided to send him back to the skilled facility because of his transfers. He needed 2 people to help with the transfer. I think if they had given him more time and trained their staff, they could have managed the transfer with just 2 people. Overall, everyone was friendly, the facility was clean, the food was good, and the move-in process went smoothly. No complaints.

"Wonderful Experience at Clarks Summit Senior Living"
My mom stayed at Clarks Summit Senior Living and we had a great experience! From the day she moved in, the staff were friendly, caring, and kind. My mom had dementia, and they made sure to watch over her. She enjoyed sitting in the lobby, talking with other residents and staff. I highly recommend this place!

"Facility Neglects Care and Offers Little Entertainment"
When mom first moved into the facility, the meals were decent, but their quality quickly went downhill. The staff didn’t perform well, and the caregivers often forgot to give mom her medications. She had a fall, and nobody bothered to check on her well-being after helping her up. Additionally, they provided almost no entertainment or activities for the residents.

"Friendly atmosphere with caring staff, but needs more attention to health"
I think Clarks Summit Senior Living did a pretty good job. Every time I visited, the staff would remember me and say hello by name. The whole place felt very warm and friendly. You could tell the staff really cared about the residents; they always seemed really focused and involved. However, they could have paid a bit more attention to my loved one’s blood sugar levels.

"Low-Quality Assisted Living: Overpriced, Neglectful Staff, Unkept Promises"
This place is just a mess. Too expensive, and the stuff they call activities are just old bingo games, workout videos from the '80s, and a singer every now and then. The staff act like kids always on their phones. The food? It's all frozen junk. And the workers seem unhappy because they're overworked and underpaid. If you want to make your loved one miserable, sure, go ahead and spend a fortune here. We had a family member here, and they told us to hire a 24-hour aide because they couldn't handle all their needs. That's really mean, especially after they promised great care. And the cleaning staff? Forget it. They don't clean well and are always hanging out in the smoking area. The carpets are dirty, and they never have towels or toilet paper. As a family member, I shouldn't have to ask for basic things! This place is the worst – expensive and terrible quality. Don't fall for their fancy talk.

"Caring Staff and Engaging Activities Make Residents Feel Welcome"
My family member hasn't been at this place for very long, but up to now, they seem to be doing a really good job overall. The people who work here are all very nice, and they make sure to spend time with everyone who lives here and really get to know them. They also seem to offer a lot of different things to do, even though my family member doesn't join in much.

"Friendly, clean, needs more activities for residents"
So far, they are doing a good job. The facility is always clean and well-kept, and the staff and residents are friendly. I wish they had more activities and worked harder to get residents involved.

"Great Place for My Step Dad"
We checked out three places and found Clarks Summit Senior Living to be the nicest and most affordable. The staff is very helpful at all levels. My stepdad has been there for a few weeks and is slowly adjusting. It's a big change for him since he lived alone in the country for 9 years and doesn't drive. The food is great, the staff is always there to help, and the residents are friendly. His room is very nice and gives him privacy. Overall, he couldn't be in a better place.
