"Assisted Living Falls Short on Promised Care"
Some workers really care, but they didn't always give enough help. It's good for people who only need a little assistance, not for those who need more care.

"Mixed experience with staff and meals, but good activities."
Elmcroft of Allison is a small, one-level community. Staff were mostly good and attentive, but sometimes they were short-staffed. Dining services were okay, but meals weren't impressive. Our loved one never complained about the food. They also offered outdoor physical therapy and other daily activities.

Guess Who Elmcroft people?
"Disappointing Assisted Living Facility Lacks Vital Monitoring Systems"
This place hasn't improved despite my year-long complaints. No functioning call buttons for help. If Mom, in a wheelchair, needs assistance, she has to wait until someone hears her. Owners promised a new system but haven't delivered. Often only 2 aides per shift for all patients. Think twice before choosing.

"Assisted living lacks staff, neglects call buttons, outdated systems persist."
This place is okay, but they don't have enough people to help everyone. The bosses are nice, but the helpers don't come when my mom needs them. She's been here since May 2018, and nothing has gotten better. The necklaces they give for calling for help never work, and the system they use is really old-fashioned. Even when I tell them over and over, they don't fix anything. They don't seem to listen or care. My mom is in a wheelchair, and if I'm not there, she doesn't get help when she really needs it.

"Assisted Living Facility Falls Short on Staffing and Care"
My mom stayed there for a month. She presses the call button for the bathroom, but nobody comes. They're very short on staff. The people who work there are great, but there aren't enough for 55 patients. Only two aides and one med tech at night. It's sad considering the money we pay. They say they're hiring more staff, but for now, the patients suffer. When will things improve? I'd like to know. Think twice before choosing this place. You might regret it.

"Understaffed Facility, Slow Response to Care Needs"
This assisted living place looks nice and the salesperson promised my mom would be well taken care of. The people working there are super kind and I really do like them. However, they don’t have enough staff. Don’t count on your family member getting the attention the salesperson said they would. Every night, there are only two helpers and one person to give out medicine for 55 people. My mom presses her call button to get help going to the bathroom, but nobody comes. So, she ends up calling me, then I have to call the front desk to get someone to assist her. After 8 pm? It’s even worse. Nobody picks up the phone for what feels like forever while I wait to talk to someone. It’s not the fault of the staff though—they’re trying their best with so many people to look after and only a few of them there.

"Basic Assisted Living Facility: Unimpressive Tour Experience"
I didn't like my visit to this place much. When I walked in, I immediately noticed a bad smell hanging around. While it seemed tidy overall, it was pretty plain and didn't catch our interest. It just wasn't what we were looking for.

"Warm and flexible care at Elmcroft."
Our experience with Elmcroft of Allison Park has been good. The staff is very warm and caring, and they take good care of the residents. They also offer a lot of flexibility in the level of care they provide.
