"Issues with Food Service and Beverage Options at Assisted Living"
I recommend it. Residents are asked about interests but see no changes. Food service can be slow for example, lunch at noon might not be served until after 12:30. The food quality is good but the organization seems lacking. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of plain water offered, often only flavored drinks like Kool-Aid. There is uncertainty about juice options during breakfast.

"Highly Pleased with Celebration Assisted Living for Loved One"
Celebration is a smaller community all on one level. We picked the nicest room for our loved one, fitting his needs perfectly. The onsite executive director, is fantastic. The chef is excellent in meeting specific dietary needs. Our loved one gets three meals a day, with breakfast being fantastic and "dinner" served at lunch, which works well. We can have meals delivered to his room for an extra cost, which we're okay with. The only downside is occasional understaffing, but overall, we're very happy with our loved one's care there.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
I wouldn't suggest this place. They had to move my family member's room twice after we initially set them up. They gave medicine without checking my loved one's sugar level first. They asked for a doctor's note for Tylenol even though we gave them the list of medications weeks ago. They didn't communicate well with us about what was needed for the doctor's note or for over-the-counter medicine. While my family member was there, there were strong smells in the hallways. Some of the nurses were friendly.

"Great staff, appealing menu, but small and no second floor"
We visited this community and thought the staff was great. It felt a bit small to us, and we didn't want a second floor for my mom. The food menu looked good, and the list of activities would have been helpful for her. Families should check out this place if they’re looking for care for a loved one.

"Nice Place, But Not Right for Us"
I visited this place with my mom in mind. Everything was fine, and they treated us kindly. The place seemed nice, everything was tidy and neat. The people working there were friendly and nice. It was okay, but it wasn't the right fit for us.

"Early Days"
It's been less than a month, so it's tough to say definitively, but overall, the care has been really good. The conditions are nice, and my mother-in-law seems happy. Considering her senior dementia, things could improve or worsen down the road. I'm hopeful that the staff adapts as our loved one's needs change.

""Change at Top, Poor Communication Plague Elmcroft's Assisted Living""
My family member has been at Elmcroft for 4 years and in that time, there have been 5 different head nurses and as many different people in charge. The people who run the place now don't talk to their workers or respond to questions from the families of residents. They usually only react if they're worried about legal problems or if you contact the company headquarters. The workers at Elmcroft are great! They will help with anything you need, but they're also scared of getting fired. If you visit, they make a great impression with their beautiful building, great staff, and friendliness. But if you're someone who wants answers and expects them to return your calls or emails, don't put your loved one here!
