"Convenient Location, But Wouldn't Recommend"

I chose this place because it's nearby and looks nice. But I wouldn't suggest it to others.

"Friendly and Homey Assisted Living Community"

We’ve been pretty happy with Celebration Villa. The staff is very good, and the place is nice and reasonably priced. It has a comfortable, friendly, and clean atmosphere. Since it’s smaller, it feels homey. Like many places, they have some staffing issues and have changed some senior staff. We would recommend this community to other families.

"Convenient and Comfortable Living at Celebration Villa"

We really like Celebration Villa because everything is on the same level. Residents don't have to worry about stairs or elevators. It's easy for them to walk outside and reach the courtyard. Currently, there aren't many activities, and sometimes the meals aren't perfect, but overall, things are going well.

"Staff Shortage Affects Communication and Engagement in Assisted Living"

Don't go to this place. They don't have enough workers, so they don't talk well. I get it's a problem everywhere now. If they do activities, they should make more effort to involve the residents.

"Assisted Living Facility Frustrations: Subpar Service and Communication Woes"

The kitchen stove's been broken for months, making meals bad. They're always late with meds, causing constant suffering. No one helps with the cable, and calls often go unanswered. Nice building, but service lacks.

"Mixed Feelings About Elmcroft Assisted Living During Pandemic"

Our visit during COVID meant restrictions; no model rooms seen. Elmcroft offers fewer amenities, and its city location felt congested for our loved one.

"Great care and clean facilities, but communication could improve"

The staff are great, the place is very clean, and the meals are excellent. The care is good, and we’ve had a positive experience. However, the high turnover rate has led to some communication issues.

"Difficulties with Mixing Dementia and General Population Residents"

Patients dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's are mixed in with everybody else. This isn't easy for residents who aren't dealing with these conditions. There's nowhere for them to go for some peace. This situation isn't just hard on those with dementia or Alzheimer's — it's a challenge for everyone else too.

"Assisted Living Facility Review"

This place has cool activities and outings. It's big, but quiet. Mom says staff is nice, residents less so.

"Nice Facility with Friendly Staff and Good Programs"

The sales presentation was clear and easy for my mom to understand. The facility was clean and set up in a large circle, so residents were less likely to get lost. The rooms at the lowest rate are small but functional. The family gathering areas could be more inviting with more seating, as they are large spaces. Since it’s an older facility, there are fewer windows, making it less bright and inviting than some other places. Most common medical services are available on-site, which is convenient. The residents seemed content, and the staff was friendly. They have some very nice programs designed for the residents’ health and happiness. Overall, we thought it was a very nice facility and it’s at the top of our list.

"Elmcroft Declines; Families Fear for their Loved Ones' Safety"

We're pulling my dad from Elmcroft. When he first got there, it seemed wonderful. But after seeing a drastic shift in staff, the quality of the place plummeted. To provide an instance, my dad has a wound requiring daily dressings. The workers there aren’t doing that. It’s simply not a safe environment for your loved ones. We're moving him out within the next 48 hours. It’s going to be an immense relief. I’ve talked to other residents who share this sentiment. Last week, I noted 33 out of 70 rooms were vacant. That should speak volumes.

"New Staff Ruin Previously Good Assisted Living Facility"

It used to be a good spot, but after the big staff changes, it's gone downhill. The new leaders are really unpleasant and look like they couldn't care less. I'd advise against going here.
