"**"Smooth Move-In and Friendly Staff!"**"
The staff is nice, communication is smooth, and moving in was easy. I'd suggest this place to others; prices are reasonable.

"Clean, Cozy, and Comfortable for Seniors"
We picked Celebration Villa of Exeter because it was super clean and had a cozy feel. It’s a small place, mostly for people over 70. There’s not much ethnic diversity.

"Perfect size, beautiful location, responsive staff, and stylish remodel"
The size is just right. There are nice spots for my dad to be alone. The location is beautiful, in a great neighborhood with lots of trees. The staff are always quick to help and know all the residents because the place is small. It was recently remodeled and looks really nice.

"Good care and better communication at Celebration Villa of Exeter"
I would probably suggest Celebration Villa of Exeter to others. My dad has only been here for a few months. At first, the staff was very nice and friendly, but sometimes that changes and care can slip at these places. He was at [name removed] before, and I think many places are similar. This facility talks to me much better and has better staffing. My dad also seems to like the food here more.

"Mixed Experience at the Assisted Living Facility"
At first, things seemed okay, but unfortunately, they didn't end well. The assisted living facility changed owners, and that shift brought some challenges. My loved one's health declined slightly, but the new management wasn't quite up to the task of caring for her. They raised our rates significantly, only to later inform us that she couldn't stay there any longer. It felt like they didn't put in much effort to find a solution. The nursing staff was decent, but the real issue lay with the management. When you're paying so much each month, you expect better care. When I collected my loved one's belongings, I noticed some missing furniture and clothes. Her expensive La-Z-Boy chair had disappeared. They did eventually locate it in someone else's room and fixed the missing power cord, but it didn't make up for the fact that someone else had been using her chair all along. The room temperature was another problem. It was freezing in the wintertime, especially in the bathroom and shared space between the two bedrooms. My loved one's roommate had also complained to Elmcroft about it, but nothing changed. When I mentioned it, they didn't seem to care. The food wasn't great either—it felt like cafeteria meals from junior high. And there weren't many engaging activities for the residents. Unless we were visiting, my loved one didn't seem lively or engaged. Overall, I was disappointed with how the new management handled things. On the bright side, the regular staff members were kind and willing to address any issues. There weren't any major problems with them.

"Friendly Community with Distance Concerns"
I didn't tour this community, but I chatted with some folks. The place seemed nice, and the lady was friendly and helpful. Our only issue was the distance; it felt like a big community.

"Impressed with staff's care and dedication despite management issues"
The staff at Elmcroft have made a hard situation easier for me. I’m really impressed with their patience and care for my aunt. I respect the whole team. However, I’m worried because other families say upper management makes the work environment tough for these kind, loving people who care for the elderly. God bless your staff.

"Great Care with Some Room for Improvement"
I'm really happy with this place. The staff pays attention to my Mom's habits, and they're observant. Even when my Mom gets a bit dramatic, they handle her well. Food and activities are good, and the place is clean. They fixed a noisy fridge right away. Could use more cozy decor." Is there anything else I can assist you with?

"Staff is attentive and caring; facility needs homier decor"
So far, I am totally satisfied. The staff is very good with feedback and pays close attention to my Mom's habits. They noticed my Mom sitting outside a lot and asked if this was normal or if she was isolating herself. I told them she loves being outdoors. This shows the staff is very observant. My Mom can be difficult sometimes, but the staff handles her very well. The food and activities are good. The cleaning staff is decent. They help her dress and get to and from meals. The facility is clean and odor-free. The residents have a kitchenette, and when I mentioned the noisy refrigerator, they replaced it right away. They respond well to requests. The facility could have a more homey feel, though.

"Caring Assisted Living: A Safe Haven for Loved Ones"
My father-in-law had a fall shortly after coming here. The nurses are really caring and working hard to help him get better. They brought meals to his room until he was feeling stronger and could eat in the dining room again. Overall, it's a nice place to stay. They make residents feel important.

"Cleanliness and Nursing Concerns in Assisted Living Facility"
The bathroom toilet wasn't clean. The nurse didn't inject Lantus and Byetta properly; it caused a bruise.

"Amazing Food and Wonderful Programs for Residents!"
He loves the food and has gained weight since arriving. He often asks for seconds. The staff is very lively, chatting with residents and taking good care of them. I was really impressed with the physical therapists. We’ve already told two other families about this place. They have a special 'make a wish' program where they help residents achieve their dreams. They’ve made amazing things happen, like singing in an opera, flying in a WWII bomber plane, throwing out the first pitch, and even doing an extreme makeover on one woman's room with a limo ride.

"Elmcroft is Incredible!"
After checking out a bunch of places, I picked Elmcroft of Reading. The leadership here is awesome, and the staff are super friendly and really good at their jobs. The care they give the residents is fantastic. There are lots of activities, and everyone seems really happy to be there. The nursing care is top-notch and really understands what the residents need. The leaders at Elmcroft are very involved; they know everyone's names, likes, and habits. My mom, who is 92, was totally against moving to an assisted living place. She was spending a lot on home care that wasn't meeting all her needs. But after just a few weeks at Elmcroft, she started calling it "home." She's more active now and loves that she can pitch horseshoes again! All I can say is...WOW!
