"Mixed experience: Flawless move-in, some issues with care and billing."
The move into Franciscan Manor went smoothly. The food there was good, but my 102-year-old Mom had trouble opening containersbecause of her paralyzed side. She felt scared of a few of the aides because they were too rough, but some were really nice. We had a little trouble with the bills; they didn't address our concerns about what Hospice provided and charged us for it monthly. They fixed it eventually after she passed away.

"Good Location, Communication Needed"
Franciscan is a good place. I wish they talked more with families and kept us informed about how residents are doing. We chose it because of the transportation and location.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living: Communication Lacking, Quality Questioned"
I was at this assisted living place for only 45 days, and it wasn't that great. The way they talk to you isn't very good, and what they said at the start isn't what I saw. It seems like they just want to have as many people there as possible, not caring much about how good it is. Like always, you should visit and decide for yourself.

"Caring Staff and Nice Amenities"
I think they don't have enough staff. The rooms are nice, and the beauty salon is handy. Unfortunately, my mom can't use many amenities because of her stroke. I appreciated A Place for Mom and Franciscan Manor for quickly finding a place for my mom. Most of the caregivers are really sweet to her.
