"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My rating is because my dad passed away before enjoying anything. He didn't complain much about the food. The staff who helped me were friendly when I could find someone, but the care was average, except for skilled nursing.

"Avoid This Dismal Assisted Living Facility at All Costs"
If I could, I'd rate this dementia care facility zero stars. It's incredibly unsatisfactory! My mom got sent there after her knee surgery, and everyone was told she may fall and required supervision. Barely a week in, she was found on the floor next to her bed. Immediately, they sent her to the hospital to check for any injuries to her head. Even though the results showed no head injury, her health got worse quickly once she came back. She refused to eat, and the staff didn't really make sure she ate their unappealing meals. She sadly died two months after her transfer there. When my wife, brother and sister-in-law went to pick up her things, the nursing staff greeted us with, "oh, THAT family". They offered no kindness, understanding, or empathy. Steer clear of this place- it's dreadful!

"Disappointing Television Upgrade at Assisted Living Facility"
The switch from cable to dish TV has been really bad. Local channels are hard to watch now, and most of the digital channels aren't interesting. There are too many car channels, which doesn't make sense. I'm just visiting here, but it seems like they're taking advantage of older people who aren't good with technology and can't complain effectively. It's almost like they're doing something wrong. Older folks need to be able to watch TV that works well.

"Decent Personal Care, Lackluster Independent Living Facilities"
This place doesn't really have options for folks who can live independently - no gym or eating areas except in the personal care zone. The woman who showed us around was really nice and gave us loads of information. The personal care part seemed pretty good - better than the independent living portion, with comfy common spaces. But that's not what we're searching for.
