"Disappointing Decline in Care and Rude Staff at Facility"
If it was an option, I'd give this place zero stars. Three years ago, my dad, [name removed], rated this facility highly. Now, he's struggling to get any help. The staff here are super disrespectful. I'm arranging to move him elsewhere. This isn't how you care for seniors.

"Poor Management Fails to Support at GL Facility"
Sadly, the folks running this place aren't very professional. My dad stayed at GL for quite a while, but I couldn't get the big honcho there to call me back or help me understand things. Plus, they're never around on weekends or holidays, which is often when I really need answers.

My friend loves living here. She feels safe and well-cared-for by the wonderful staff.

"Understaffed but friendly; good place but needs more attention."
The staff is really nice and friendly. Overall, I think Gluco Lodge is a nice place, but they don't have enough staff, and I think that's their biggest problem. There just aren't enough people there to pay attention to everything.

"Mixed Experience with Staff and Rooming Options"
It was okay. The staff were really nice. My family member stayed briefly for respite care. I suggest getting a private room. Unfortunately, they placed a dementia patient in the same room as my loved one, which was quite upsetting.

Loved One
"Mixed Experience with Assisted Living Facility"
There have been a few small issues we've had to talk about here. First, the carpeting could be better. You can feel the floor underneath, but they've just filed paperwork with the town to renovate, like making more private rooms and expanding a bit. It seems like things will get fixed eventually. The maintenance staff seem friendlier than the nurse aides. They come whenever you need help and chat with you. It seems like some of the nurses are busy, maybe because they don't have enough staff. Some don't look very professional and seem a bit rough. But my loved one really likes her therapist! At first, some of the care services needed to be improved, especially for hygiene. Also, it seems like they sometimes forget to bring our loved one down to eat. However, it's in a great location and it's clean. They are taking good care of our loved one, and for what we pay, it's a good deal. It helps us save money. It's in a nice, quiet place and there are lots of activities that most residents enjoy. Whenever I've had problems, I can talk to Natalie, and she will take care of them. Hopefully, when the weather gets better, things will improve too.

"Feels More Like a Hospice Than a Home"
This place felt more like a nursing home than anything else. It wasn’t as big as some other places, and they didn’t have as many workers. The staff didn’t seem to know as much or be as nice as people at other places. It kind of made you think of a place where you drop off a family member and might not see them again.

A Place For Mom Customer
"Convenient Location; Mom Not Ready for Assisted Living Yet"
Last year, I visited this assisted living facility and liked it because it's near my home. However, my mom isn't ready for assisted living just yet.

"Mixed Feelings on Assisted Living Facility"
The assisted living facility was warm, clean, and modern with friendly staff who appeared to genuinely care for the residents. The only downside was walking into a recreation room filled with people in wheelchairs. It didn't bother me, but I think it might scare my mom away.
