"Assisted Living Review: Kind Staff, Clean Facility, Transparent Costs Needed"
The staff is nice and friendly. Juniper's manager ensures they're on-site. Families find the administrator accessible. Juniper is clean and moving in is easy with their help. My loved one isn't fond of the food, but it's her opinion. They should clarify costs and care level fees. Overall, it's one of the better places in our area.

"Friendly Staff and Clean Facility with Tasty Food"
The staff at Juniper Village are nice and have worked there a long time. The place is very clean and smells good. They keep in touch with families well. They let families know that if their loved one gets meals in their room, it costs extra. The food is really good. We think other people should consider this place.

"Assisted Living Review"
The place is clean, but they don't have enough staff. They don't pay attention to small needs, like having a phone nearby in case help is needed. My mom has fallen multiple times since she arrived and had to go to the hospital twice. The staff blames her, but she has Parkinson's dementia and does her best. Her bedding disappeared, and she had to sleep without blankets one night. To me, that means they need more help. The director, [name removed], who's supposed to fix things, never calls me back. My dad found a cup of pills 8 different meds on my mom's bedside table. No one knew how they got there. If she had taken them, who knows what could've happened. Even then, name removed didn't talk to my dad or return my call. Last week, my dad saw a resident escape. There's a busy highway nearby. The staff caught the woman, but then no one helped my mom go to the bathroom. So, if you can take care of yourself, it's okay. But if not, I wouldn't recommend it. We're looking at other options because we're not sure she's safe there.

"Juniper Village Experience"
I visited Juniper Village at Monroeville, and the place felt very institutional, especially from the outside. The Sales Manager gave me a strange experience. She called to offer a room, but when I couldn't come that day, she filled it with someone else within 24 hours and ignored my calls and emails.

"Assisted Living Review: Good Staff, Food, Activities, Needs Better Medication Communication"
This place has been really good overall. The staff is nice. The food is good, and I like some of the meals. They have lots of activities, and the Activities Director really encourages us to join. I wish they would tell us more about changes in medicine. But my loved one gets lots of attention and care. I would tell my friends and family to come here.

"Room for Improvement in Assisted Living Facility"
This place is pretty good because there are many men for my husband to hang out with, and they seem to get along well. But, I'm worried about how they handle his medicine. The staff are friendly and helpful, but I think they need better systems. The same people work there, which is nice, but some residents leave. It seems like they're working on improving, but they're not quite there yet.

""Poor experience, unhelpful staff at assisted living facility""
Our time with this assisted living facility was pretty lousy. We had a lot of problems when our family member stayed there. The staff didn't want to help us out. It didn't seem like they were open and honest about their actions.

"Better Care, Beautiful Place"
Everyone is really nice, and the place is beautiful. I feel lucky to have my loved one there. Overall, they’re great. The director is wonderful and has been kind to us and my loved one. However, their communication could be better—we have to stay on top of things. But compared to where she was before, it’s a big improvement. I’m glad we switched.

"Nice Place, But Every Small Service Adds Up"
This assisted living facility is quite nice. You need to have a good amount of money though. They will bill you for each small service they provide. The facility itself is quite upscale and elegant.

"Lackluster Atmosphere in Assisted Living Facility"
When we visited this place, it didn't feel lively. It was quiet when we stepped in. It's a decently big place with elevators. The rooms were pleasant, and we were welcomed warmly. The staff we met were polite and seemed professional, but I didn't feel like they were excited about us being there.

"Great staff and amenities despite mom's health challenges"
My mom stayed at Harbour for a month of respite care. Although she didn’t feel her best, she really appreciated the staff and their kindness. She loved getting her hair done, having her first shower in a long time with help, and enjoyed her spacious room. She liked walking around the first floor with her walker and enjoyed some of the entertainment when she felt up to it. My sisters and I also enjoyed having meals with her and liked the food.

"Concerns About Safety and Accessibility for Assisted Living"
I went to check out this place at night, so I couldn't really see how it looked. My mom needed a place to get better after her accidents. The problem I found here was that she could only call for help using the phone by her bed. I didn't think that was very safe. This community wasn't the right fit for my mom and what she needed.

"My Aunt Receives Excellent Care Here"
My aunt was in this community before, and it was a good experience. So we decided to move my other aunt here. She’s doing well, and I’m satisfied. Our experiences have been great so far. Everyone is kind and helpful, and I’m comfortable with the care she receives. I recommend this community; it has worked out well for us.

"Friendly Staff, Well-Maintained Facility, Not Right Fit for Mom"
I went to check out this place for my mom. The tour was good. The people who work there were nice and helpful. They told me everything I needed to know and answered my questions. Everything looked neat and tidy. The tour was nice overall, but it's not the right place for my mom.

"Still Adapting"
Frank experiences both good and bad days. Since he hasn't been there long, it's too early to tell. He's quite pleased with the staff and hopes to see progress in a few weeks.

"Smooth Transition to Personal Care Home"
This place is really nice and clean. They take good care of my mom. We wanted her to get stronger here before going back home, and we asked them to help her walk more. Wendy was great during the move to the personal care home.

"Attentive and helpful assisted living, 8 out of 10 satisfaction."
I'd rate them 8 out of 10. They're good, and really attentive. It's pretty clean, and they take good care of us. The food is alright, and my mom loves the desserts. Wendy was super nice and helpful when we moved in. I like that there's a hospital nearby and a storage place that let us use their truck.

"Pleasant Assisted Living Experience"
Our time at Harbour Assisted Living was really nice! It's a pretty, clean place, and everyone who works there is super nice and acts like pros. They took really good care of my family member as they were nearing the end of their life. It's a comfortable place, and they worked well with the hospice service we had.

"Wonderful care, mom's happy and I'm at peace!"
Today marks the end of my mom's first week at Harbour of Monreoville. The first few days were tough for both of us, but now I see hope for her happiness and my peace of mind. I chose a 5-star rating because the staff made me feel like my worries were normal, and that my mom’s were too. They reassured me that the adjustment period would bring some stress, but it would get better over time. It has. Mom now has a few friends, a good appetite, and motivation to get dressed. I’m finally getting a good night’s sleep, knowing she’s safe and happy.

"FIVE-STAR RATING!"
At 93, my dad needed a safe and comfortable place with caring staff. At Harbour, I’ve been thrilled with the excellent healthcare, friendly support, and homey atmosphere. The tastefully decorated setting feels just like home. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating! As a World War II veteran, Dad appreciates the dignity of care he receives here. I highly recommend Harbour for top-notch senior care.
