"Great Staff and Good Food at Juniper Village"

The staff has been really helpful, especially with the food, which is always a problem for my brother (a 4-star rating from him is good). I would recommend Juniper Village at Brookline to others.

"Lacking Communication; Family Left Uninformed at Assisted Living Facility"

The place doesn't share much info. When someone falls or meds change, family isn't told quickly. I learned about med changes from the pharmacy they use and other stuff from family.

"[Good Tour, But Too Expensive"

Our family took an in-person tour and liked it, but it was too expensive for us.

"Clean, Friendly, and Great Food!"

There are cheaper places around that offer the same care. But this community is clean, neat, and the staff is friendly. The food was really good. I would recommend this place to others if you can afford it.

"Lack of Training at Juniper Assisted Living"

My mom stayed at Juniper for rehab after breaking her hip. Due to COVID, we couldn't visit, so we don't know the physical conditions. However, they wanted to send her back within hours because she was combative (she has dementia). We had to guide the nurses on how to approach her. Shouldn't staff be trained for this?

"Friendly community with good food and nice rooms"

We picked Juniper Village at Brookline Senior Living because it's close to my house. My mom's room is a good size. The food is nice with some variety and it's pretty fresh. Our favorite part is the friendly community and having people to talk to. I would recommend this place.

"Review of Juniper Village at Brookline: Excellent care, clean rooms, tasty meals, and fun activities!"

The nursing staff is amazing! You can always ask for help when you need it. Housekeepers keep your room clean, provide fresh towels, and do laundry on Mondays. The kitchen staff makes tasty meals, and you can even request something special. The Connections department offers lots of fun activities, and there's a grocery bus every Tuesday at 2 pm.

"Positive Visit to Juniper Village at State College"

My family and I had a great visit to Juniper Village at State College, PA, and our tour with [names removed] was fantastic. Even though I’m not ready to move right now, I’ve told her that I’m definitely interested in moving there within the next 6 months.

"Friendly staff, great care, affordable, and excellent management."

The staff here are friendly and caring. The rooms and services are top-notch. The ratio of staff to residents is great. Everything is very friendly and more affordable than other places. The management was also excellent. I had a really enjoyable 3 and a half months. If I need assisted living again, I’ll come back here.

"Helpful staff, tasty food, and fun activities every day!"

The Tuesday grocery bus is really helpful! The chefs are great, and the food choices are good. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. The nurses and aides are very helpful and check my blood sugar twice a day. The activities department has fun things to do, like painting flower pots.

"Friendly Staff, Satisfactory Care with Excessive Food Frequency"

This place has lots of fun stuff to do. They take good care of you and help you when you need it. The food tastes good, but they give you too much and feed you too often. Overall, it's okay. The people who work here are really nice and think about you.

"Amazing Events and Decorations at Juniper Village!"

I want to thank the staff at Juniper Village at Brookline for all the great family events you hold during the year. You create wonderful chances for families to come together with their loved ones at Juniper Village, enjoy delicious food, and have fun in a beautiful setting. For those who can’t travel, it’s great to have special time with their family. Plus, you’re lucky to have such a talented chef on your team. I also want to praise you for the beautiful Easter flower decorations. The flowers bring bright colors and a lovely springtime scent to the place.

"Great food, rides, and fun crafts at this facility!"

The grocery bus is great! If you can’t go, the driver will get it for you. The food keeps getting better and better. You can pick whatever main course you want and choose your side dishes! Transports give rides to different apartments. The connections department has cool art and crafts. I made 3 door hangers: American flag, Nittany Lions, and Hello Spring.

"Wonderful holiday event!"

I visited Juniper Village Senior Living at Brookline for their Trail of Trees holiday event. My son and I really enjoyed touring the buildings and seeing the holiday decorations. It was a super fun time! The food and drinks were tasty, and the building was clean and inviting. The staff and residents were very friendly and always smiled at me. The activities calendar looks very diverse, so there's something for everyone! I hope to attend more events in the future.

"Kris K. Goes Above and Beyond in Assisting and Caring"

Our dining manager is amazing. Kris K. not only helps with our meals, but he also stayed with me when a nurse had to assist someone else. He waited after hours for the ambulance to take me to the hospital. Kris is always ready to help and is so friendly.

"Juniper Village at Brookline: Exceptional Care and Supportive Staff"

My mom is 100 and a half years old. For over five years at The Inn at Brookline's Juniper Village, her sight and hearing have worsened. Everyone there—administration, nurses, activity coordinators, kitchen staff, servers, and aides—has been kind, flexible, and supportive. The people really make this place special!

"Juniper Village: Exceeded Expectations with Care and Activities"

I'm so grateful for this community. My mom lived in Florida, and I live in PA. I needed a safe place for her to move, where she would get daily activities, meals, supervision, and care. Juniper has gone beyond my hopes. They offer amazing activities every day, healthy meals, weekly cleaning, and extra love from the owner. It’s a place where everyone knows my mom’s name. I have peace of mind!

"Wonderful care and activities, will miss friends and staff"

I've been living here since right before Thanksgiving. I’m in Assisted Care Living because I needed rehab. My hips and legs were weak from a long hospital stay. The therapy was excellent; now I use a walker but can walk short distances without it. The staff is wonderful, and they took great care of me. There are lots of fun activities to enjoy! I’m moving out this month and will miss all my friends. I love them all.
