"Mixed Feelings: Issues with Food and Care, But Activities Enjoyed"
We haven’t been able to visit due to Covid, so we’re depending on our loved one to update us. They have issues with the food; it’s either not enough or doesn’t meet specific health needs. We have to bring extra groceries because the facility isn’t providing proper meals. Housekeeping isn’t great, and the hallways often smell like urine. While the other residents are friendly, some of the nurses are not. They don’t answer the call button quickly. They do come eventually, but not when needed. They haven’t been good with managing medications or responding to health problems at night. Every doctor visit requires a quarantine period. On the bright side, they still have activities, and our loved one enjoys bingo with friends. We’ve spoken with the director many times. She says she’ll check on our loved one, but we’re not sure if she does. It’s really hard not being able to visit in person.

"Mom loves it, staff is amazing, decision was perfect!"
Juniper Village has been a lifesaver for our family! My mother, who lost her husband in 2018 and lived alone 600 miles away, was hesitant about moving. She worried it would feel like a “prison,” but her experience has been just the opposite! Whenever I talk to Mom, she says, “How did you find such a wonderful place? I LOVE it here! Everyone is so nice!” The staff at Juniper Village is outstanding—always attentive and going above and beyond every day. From the first tour to the move-in, everything was well planned and managed. Mom is thriving, has many friends, and her mood and mental health are the best I’ve ever seen, even with COVID protocols. The staff has done an amazing job keeping everyone healthy, with zero COVID cases! As her primary caretaker, POA, and son, I also feel that Juniper Village has been a blessing for my mental health. Before Juniper, I was dealing with daily struggles and stress, but now that’s gone. Juniper Village completely changes the negative views of long-term care facilities. It’s the best decision Mom could have made, and we are very pleased!

"Impressed with Juniper Village; excited to move and join!"
We were really impressed with our tour of Juniper Village and are excited about moving there soon. The apartment we saw is lovely, and the amenities are great for the price. She was a fantastic host—friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She seems well-liked by everyone there. We appreciate her for taking the time to explain everything to us. We hope to sell our current home soon and become permanent residents at Juniper Village.

"Review of Friendly Assisted Living Community Great Resident Engagement"
My husband and I lead interactive music programs for the residents. We really appreciate how eager and enthusiastic everyone is. I see the staff encouraging residents to try new things and joining in whenever they can. It's great that the staff know each resident by name and are always friendly and supportive. We’re happy to be involved in the many activities offered and to get to know the residents better.

"Beautiful Facility, But Didn't Feel Right for Mom"
I went to check out this place for my mom. The tour was okay, but it didn't give me a cozy vibe. The place seems pretty fancy and all. The people working there were nice and friendly. It's just that I didn't think it's the right fit for my mom and what she needs.

"Happy with the care and service, location is great."
I'm really happy with this place. The cost is similar to others, and sometimes it’s even better. The food is okay, and they make an effort to adjust things if she doesn't like something. Sometimes, the communication could be improved, but overall, I’m satisfied. I like the location and feel that they genuinely listened to my concerns. It's great that everything is in one building and there are plenty of people available to help.

"Juniper Village -- welcoming, friendly, and great place!"
My husband was recently moved to Juniper Village from a rehab center because of a broken hip, so my review is based on my visit. As soon as I walked in, I felt at ease. Many residents were in the sitting area, chatting and laughing. As I walked through the halls, residents smiled and greeted me. The staff seemed happy too. Overall, I felt very comfortable and hope my husband, who is developing dementia, will feel the same way. Give the place 5 stars out of 5.
