Logan Place

"Staff great, management rude, poor food and cleaning, not recommended."
My family member stayed at Logan Place before. The workers were nice, but there weren't enough of them. The bosses were mean and didn't like helping. It was tough to talk to them. The meals weren't tasty, and they gave such tiny portions. The cleaning was almost never done. I wouldn't suggest Logan Place to anyone.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Community"
It’s not worth the money. This place isn’t suitable for someone needing care; it’s independent living, not assisted living. However, my loved one enjoyed the food, and the community is beautiful.

"Friendly and Cautious Care with Minor Issues"
They’re pretty helpful most of the time, and they keep in touch with you. I don’t have anything bad to say about them, except maybe that they let my loved one trick them sometimes. She keeps getting them to call an ambulance and take her to the hospital. She has a medical condition where she doesn’t always feel well, and she doesn’t understand that. But then again, I’d rather they be careful in case something serious is happening with her. The staff are friendly and seem to know what they’re doing. They usually keep things clean, but sometimes they don’t do her laundry as quickly as I’d like. Overall, I would definitely recommend them to others.

"Disappointing Experience at Logan Place Assisted Living"
My family member didn't stay long at Logan Place because it wasn't a good fit. Logan Place told me they could take care of my family member without any problems after assessing them. Just a few days after they moved in, they needed more care than what was first thought. This caused the cost for my family member's care to double. My family member had trouble navigating through the place, even using the emergency exits. After just a month, the staff decided they couldn't provide the needed care any longer. I had to move them to a different place. When we went to collect my family member's belongings after the move, there were feces on some of their stuff, including bathroom rugs, shoes and other items. Everything was just put in a plastic bag for us to get. I am really not happy with how things turned out. The person I first talked to wasn't helpful at all, and we ended up choosing a smaller place instead.

"Stay Diligent with Staff"
This place is pretty good for my mom. She's settled in fine, but they don't give her daily baths. When I mention it, the staff just blames each other. They're friendly overall and keep things clean. Lots of activities. Recommend, but stay on top of staff.

"Mixed Experience at Assisted Living Facility"
My mom moved there but we brought her home because it was too expensive. They had activities and entertainment, but they only posted schedules and didn't remind residents, so if you missed it, tough luck. Meals were at set times, so if she slept in, she missed breakfast. She liked the food but said the portions were small. Eventually, they started giving her more food.

"Understaffed but nice; dad needs better care with hygiene and grooming."
It's a pleasant place with good accommodations. The staff is nice, but it seems like they don't have enough people working. Before my dad moved in, we had a caretaker who took care of him. Now that he's here, we're paying more, but he's not clean, not shaved, and looks messy. He's healthy, but needs help with bathing and getting dressed. When we visit, we feel disappointed.
